2005 "give me a dollar tour"
So Shwa, Kelly and I are off on the streets of Texas playing soft rock shows! It all started Tuesday morning when Kelly and I woke up at 6am to go to the KLBJ radio studio. i played "Do You Ever" , and it was freaking early. I sort of messed up a bit, but it wasnt that noticeable. So in the words of Josh Rosenthal... "No Big Whoop". Then kelly and I made a redonkulous breakfast and headed to Houston. We picked Shwa up from the airport and hugged like crazy!!! He flew from Philly, and it was so good to see him!!!!!
We hung out in a place called onion creek and had some amazing food and i ended my coffee sobriety after a week of no cokes or coffee. i had only had 1 hour of sleep, so i needed it.
We went to the venue and played a great show with my buddy Glenn Eliot.
Shwa rocked, and it was so cool to see him play again!!!!
I played every song off of the new album, and then one old one called "away from me"..
it was a great small show and it was super fun!!!
then we ate mexican food!
listened to patsy cline on the jukebox....
went to my good friend angela's house, and folks this is where the presents started flying around.. You see angela works for a company called orgins. It is like an upscale bath and body works that is mostly for hot babes.
but she gave me some awesome body wash and a huge bottle of shampoo that will make me smell super good...
it was so nice, and she is the best!
we woke up at the crack of noon.. i took the best shower of my life in angela's shower.. it was crazy.. i used all of her girl products and i now feel super clean...
we all went to eat and then headed to college station...
we were all so freaking tired, but the show was really fun!!
met some cool people and some good friends came out..
after the show we went to my buddy keith's new house.
it was super amazing...
he has this huge house that is super nice, and he has a rad recording studio .
it was awesome.. so if you ever need a place to record in college station, you should go there...its called the mix lab...
he also has an indoor pool which makes him my hero..
so kelly is flying to new york city for the adam richman tour.
she may be the coolest person me and shwa know..
she has like 6 shirts for the next 2 1/2 weeks.. but it is cool, cause she is emo.
we are staying up because we have to take her to the airposrt at 5am..
what a butt hole!!!
so thanks to everyone who came out!!! you guys are super freaking rad! i hope you all like the new cd, and for those of you who we are about to see on this tour, i cant wait. im so excited!!!
