A few little things about Respawning
Three things I've learned fiddling with respawning.

1. If you give a waypoint to a unit it will still follow it when it has respawned.

2. If you put a respawn in an "END" trigger area, that uses an if not present clause, your game will never end.

3. Only players or playable units will respawn. If you want everyone to respawn, you have to make them playable units.

atleast without getting too sophisticated.

You can actually spawn objects and vehicles as well I was messing about and I made one where you walk up to a table and an entire base appears around you.

Will try and dig it up and you can take a look, the idea was to stage different game types in a single mission you start off in a main base then travel to different training areas (deathmatch, ctf, coop) and to save load on the host, when you get there the bits you need spawn. To decide teams you had to stand in two different tents. Was all possible but didn't get finished due to lack of time.

That would be good for single missions where you go and pick stuff up, or get a message to gather things on the way to complete a mission.

Could you make multiple conditions for spawned items?

IE: go to x5 j8 pick up spawned item,

go to x9 h7 pick up next item, then go to x8 i10 and if you have to two other items a new item appears. But if you don't it doesn't.

I've been playing some other games, but I keep going back to OFP for it's realism.

If you could only jump, climb and get into things easier, ahh maybe in OFP2

Hopefully someone will combine something like that Startrek Deep Space 9 game's character mobility with OFP, that would be great.

I've been playing some more games and mission making.

hmmm...

for this spawning thing, can you spawn map markers?

I need to improve some of the missions I've made.

My Jail break needs a boost, as well, as the Frog Soup mission.

A time to be the Bad Bad guy.

I'm sure its possible using a script, not something i've done and I haven't coded any OFP for a while now so I'm not much help.

Just waiting for OFP2 and HL2 before I get into another game.

BF:V should keep me going ;)
