A silvered fey in the moonlight ((Pack meeting))

The moon frosted alphess stood, staring at the largely empty dens. One had been claimed, once. Riushu...the one she'd loved. Her eyes hardened. But he'd left, as so many of the others. Once she'd had a large pack. Now, she was down to maybe six. It may be twice what deadwood has, but it still wasn't good. And two of hers were as good as useless. A she pup, and her caretaker, the old wolf, who was blinded in one eye and deafened in one ear.
Now was the time to call to her pack. The moon silvered fey threw back her head and let a full bodied howl roll from betwixt her lips. A long, demanding call, summoning her pack to her side. And if they didn't respond, there would be hell to pay. The alphess was sick of being abandoned. She would not put up with it any longer. These were her packlands, and she wasn't going to stand for the aching lonliness any more.
She laid down, then stoof back up, her silvery eyes hard as marble. The thought of Riushu's leaving her sickened her. They'd no sooner proclaimed their love, then he'd left. She was furious. Luna began to pace angrily, her thoughts bent on the revenge she would take if he dared show his face again. The silver alphess was not one to be crossed. She never let go of an injury, especially not one to the heart.
An angry growl crossed her lips as she impatiently awaited her pack's arrival. She threw her head back and howled again, this time more loudly and impatiently. Her mane bristled as she resumed her impatient pacing, her strides long and angry. Where the hell were they?
