Allow me to introduce myself:
Normally I would have someone else send a formal letter of introduction but considering the need for secrecy in our line of work I guess I will have to do it myself.
My name is Mia Delany. You know me as The Magnificent Queen Bee. I am the only child of Michael and Beatrice Delany of Palm Beach Florida. Daddy is a real estate developer and Mommy is a great shopper! I attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School for Girls and St. John Neumann Catholic High School. While in high school I was the captain of the cheer leading squad and naturally was elected Prom Queen...twice. Okay, so I wasn't very bright but I looked great! After graduation mommy and daddy sent me to Brazil so I could relax and unwind after 12 grueling years of education. There I met the love of my life. Renowned scientist Pablo Lopez-Callas. He was brilliant...and wealthy. Mommy and daddy loved him! We were married on a beach over looking the Pacific Ocean at sunset...it was spectacular. Pablo surprised me with a honeymoon in the rainforest. Guess he didn't really know me well enough to know I wasn't the "outdoorsy" type. He tried though. Our tent was full of beautiful red roses and he managed to have iced champagne delivered daily. On the third day of our honeymoon, disaster struck. Pablo and I were strolling through the rainforest when we came across a strange plant that Pablo had only seen in books. He moved in to get a closer look and was attacked by a swarm of killer bees. I tried to save him but could not. I managed to make it back to our camp before I passed out from my stings. The Indian boy who delivered our iced champagne found me that evening and took me back to his village. After not returning home on time, Mommy and Daddy sent a search party to find us. I was flown back to Palm Beach and recovery took months. I guess thats how I got my powers. I discovered them in the Bal Harbor parking lot when some punks tried to steal my Jag....convertible of course. Daddy said he can't deal with my new powers and Mommy is just as confused by them as I am. Thats why I came to Paragon City...to try and figure it all out. Everyone here at Project Rebirth has been very kind and patient with me and I thank you all for that. But, I have to tell you..I really don't like this hero thing. I'd rather be shopping . I may need help getting introduced into the "right" social circles here. If any of you can do that for me I would greatly appreciate it!
