Age: 99
Appearance: Light skinned. Curly, shoulder length, blond hair. Blue eyes, 5-10. Slender, but not weak.
Origin: Altara
Personality:
Not a loner, but not real outgoing, Anberlin is kind and helpful. Once in a while, she gets rather goofy and will try a stupid stunt, but not generally. Though very peaceful for an Altarian, she has been known to have the Altarian fits of rage.
Background:
Anberlin was born to an Altarian noblewoman who had an affair with a visiting noble from Andor. Her father, a well known fighter, killed the man in a duel. To save his honor and reputation, he kept the child as his own.
While growing up, Anberlin was her mother’s favorite, and though she looked different from her siblings, she was treated as an equal, even after the truth was told to them. Her father, though he took care of her, never treated her as well as his own children. Despite that, Anberlin had a great childhood. For her 13th birthday, she was given a pup, whom she loved dearly.
As she grew, she despised the custom of dueling, which had taken her older sister. As she approached the age of 16, she was quite skilled in knife fighting, loving the training she did with her brothers, but still wouldn’t fight.
Her 16th birthday comes and goes, and still she has not dueled. Her parents tell her she must fight before she is 17, or she must leave. The day before her birthday, a woman kicked her beloved dog, and in a sudden rage, she called for a duel. She killed the woman, but received a wound to her side. She channeled a healing to herself, and made her way back home, dress torn and bloodied, but with no wound.
Her parents were thrilled, but Anberlin went into a deep depression for months, and never wore her knife. During this time, and Aes Sedai heard of her, and made arrangements to take Anberlin to the White tower. She arrived on her 18th birthday, still feeling the depression caused by the dual.
