Any room for an orpahned alien?

Powers- Lightning Bolt, Lightning Field, Ball Lightning, Super Leap (soon)
Even on his home world, the ability to create electrical fields was something of an oddity; Spark was always amazed by the acceptance that he always received from those around him, in his family as well as local community. When the Ritki came to take over his planet, few were able to escape the destruction, like Spark’s family. Using his powers, Spark was able establish enough power for the small craft to escape into space before he passed out from exhaustion.
The next thing that Spark knows, he is the lone survivor a crash landing of his ship just outside of Paragon City.
Over the years, Spark has come to love his second home and has vowed to use his abilities as a Protector. He wishes to not only protect the earthlings from the Ritki, but from themselves by showing them the meaning of acceptance that he learned from his home world.
