Re: Anyone ever wonder?
Yes, Stephen's colouring was changed completely, for Blade, wasn't it?
Looking at most of his other photos he normally has quite warm-looking skin, hair and eyes but in Blade he's completely the opposite!
The pale makeup, darker hair and blue-grey contacts really 'cooled' his colouring and turned him into a gorgeous goth, didn't it? *lol*
Actually, his Blade complexion and hair colour reminds me of how he looked in Backbeat. He was milky-white in that film, too. I wonder if he had to stay out of the sun for a while to get rid of his normal 'golden glow' or whether some kind of camera effect was applied to make him look so starkly white?
Whatever, he always looks fantastic in his movies and yeah, it would be nice to do his makeup...The only thing is though, if I was his makeup artist, I'd feel as if I had to get major plastic surgery done because he'd be lookin' at me, too!!!
Re: Anyone ever wonder?lol yeah i know what you mean if he was looking at me all day i would want a models body face hair you name it so he doesnt freak out at his makeup artist lol
He's so good looking...'really, really, really good-looking'. (Sorry, couldn't resist. I was just reminded of that corny line from 'Zoolander' *lol*) that it would be a bit intimidating coming face to face with him, I think!
Re: Anyone ever wonder?
he did look good in this movie..but I think the whole mystical being thing added to the hottness...I mean what is it with vampires just being so hot..I mean the guy could be totally fugly but then he has a part as a vampire and your an instant sex symbol..lol...
Re: Anyone ever wonder?
hehe gotta love Zoolander...and the fact that very few people probably actually knew why he was in the movie at all, is pretty cool. We're like in on an inside joke.
I like the way Stephen is able to poke fun at his old reputation as being a bit of a 'fashionista' *lol* I think it shows that he has a good sense of humour and that he doesn't take himself too seriously.
I think if he were pretentious or 'up himself' as we say here, in Australia, of people who can't look at themselves and see the funny things they do, I wouldn't like him as much as I do.
Hmmmm
Why was he in Zoolander? I ,admit, I thought that movie was real dumb, at first, but as I watch it more and more ,its ,actually, pretty funny! He looks sooo cute ,when he makes that ,"Hmmm" sound! So, lemme in on that inside joke, huh?

Yeah Im Deacon's kinky, bondage, sex slave. It rocks.. it really does.
...
he was in zoolander because the movie was inspired by a skit from the VH1 fashion awards...if you have the zoolander DVD you can actually watch the original skits. So it's like a big inside joke, a joke was made about him on the VH1 awards...about him being a fashion guru with models hangin' off 'em...hehe...and I'm assuming they asked him because of that and he did the cameo.
lol
i think he was TOO DIE FOR in Blade... SOO gorgeous...everything about him the paleness, the blue eyes...even the way his hair was, when he'd have a few tiny bangs jsut across his forehead....*goes into happy drooly state* ohh yeah

*points to above post, because I don't know if it's possible to quote other people's posts on ezboards, heh*
Excellent way of putting it. I always thought he looked really "warm," like he's got a tan, and his hair and eyes really match that tan. I thought it was really great how much they made him fall into the character by changing his look like that. And in this movie, well, maybe it's just me, but he also seemed to have more a squint and his face seemed a bit smaller (maybe that was the makeup) - kind of like the vampires in Buffy, you know what I mean?
