Austin turned heel? Wrestlemania results If anyone ordered Wrestlemania or knows what happenned, you know by now that Stone Cold Steve Austin receieved help from VINCE MCMAHON and celebrated his win with Vince McMahon and a beer. Great match, NEVER expected the ending though. In other news, ... Jericho d. Regal via submission Regal whipped Jericho into the corner to start things off, but Jericho came back with a right hand, then hit Regal with a flying forearm and a spinning heel kick, knocking Regal to the outside. Jericho continued his offense, hitting a plancha over the top rope onto Regal. Jericho rolled Regal into the ring and climbed the top rope, hitting Regal with a flying elbow. Regal countered a Jericho Irish Whip, trying to roll him up, but Jericho countered into a Walls of Jericho attempt. However, Regal managed to escape and shot Jericho's shoulder into the steel ring post twice, then waved to the crowd, getting a few boos. Regal continued to work on Jericho's shoulder with a few technical moves, apparently setting him up for the Regal Stretch. Off an Irish Whip, Jericho hit Regal with an elbow then went for the Lionsault, but Regal put his knees up, then rolled up Jericho, but Y2J kicked out. Regal picked up Jericho and hit him with a vicious German suplex, flipping Jericho all the way over and landing him almost on his neck. Tazz! Tazz! Tazz! Regal went towards the corner and took off the top turnbuckle, exposing a steel bolt. Jericho attempted to kick Regal, but Regal caught him. However, Jericho hit an enziguri, then went to the top rope and hit a missle dropkick on Regal. Jericho ran at Regal in the corner, but Regal moved. Regal climbed the top rope along with Jericho and hit a great double underhook suplex from the top rope! Regal went for the cover, but Jericho kicked out at 2 1/2. Regal went for a backdrop, but Jericho landed on his feet and went for the Walls of Jericho, but Regal countered and locked on the Regal Stretch! However, Jericho managed to crawl to the ropes and broke the hold. Jericho rose to his feet and hit Regal with several hard chops. Regal's chest = red. Out of nowhere, Jericho hit Regal with a facebuster, then hit a snap suplex, followed by a Lionsault. Jericho went for the cover and picked up the win. Alrighty then. Tazz and APA w/Jacqueline d. RTC via pinfall Right to Censor's music hit, and out they came. Steven Richards took the mic: "The RTC is totally..." Tazz's theme hit! Huge pop for Tazz! Yessss. From the Red Hook section of Brooklyn, New York, weighing 248 pounds... Tazz! The Acolytes music hit next and out came the APA. The Right to Censor met them in the aisle and everyone began to brawl. In the ring, Tazz entered with Val Venis and took the advantage over Val, throwing him out of the ring. The bell rang and the match was underway. Bull Buchanan started things with Bradshaw, hitting a clothesline off the top rope. Howver, Tazz was tagged in and hit Bull with a big T-Bone Tazplex. However, Tazz was knocked into the RTC's corner and the RTC took control over him. Val entered the ring and went to work on Tazz for a while, then tagged in the Goodfather, who continued to work on Tazz. The Goodfather knocked Tazz into the corner, then hit him with the Ho Train. Goodfather climbed the top turnbuckle and jumped down, but missed, and Tazz tagged in Bradshaw, who ran in and cleaned house on RTC. Val Venis ran at Bradshaw, but was caught with a fallaway slam. Faarooq ran in, and the Acolytes hit a double spinebuster on Val. Bull began to pound away at Faarooq, while Bradshaw hit Val with a super backdrop off the top rope. Bull and the Goodfather hit Bradshaw with a double powerbomb. In the ring, Goodfather went for the ho train on Bradshaw, but missed and Bradshaw nailed him with a Clothesline from Hell for the win. Meanwhile, Tazz was on the outside of the ring for the whole time. Kane d. Raven & Big Show via pinfall Raven's theme hit, out came the Hardcore champ with a shopping cart full of Hardcore weapons. Kane entered next and as soon as he got into the ring, Raven attacked him with a few of the weapons. However, Kane fought back and both men began to battle it out. The Big Show's theme hit and out came the third participant in this matchup. Kane picked up Raven and tossed him to the outside into the Big Show's arms. The Big Show caught Raven and set him up for the Final Cut, but Kane climbed to the top rope and jumped down, nailing the Big Show. Raven ran into the crowd, but Kane and the Big Show ran after him and all three men began to battle in the crowd. They eventually made their way backstage, where Raven attacked Kane with a cookie sheet. However, Kane grabbed Raven and tossed him into a wall, almost putting a hole in it. Damn cheap sheet rock. The Big Show finally made his way backstage and chased down Raven, throwing him into a room with a fence wall. The Big Show tried to lock the fence, but Kane entered and ripped the fence door open. All three men battled it out with several hardcore weapons. They enventually left the room. Kane grabbed Raven and tossed him through a glass window. The Big Show grabbed Kane and went for a chokeslam, but Kane grabbed Big Show by the throat and both men went crashing though a wall. Raven got up and ran into a golf cart, then tried driving away, but the Big Show climbed on the back of it, causing Raven to crash the golf cart into a wall. Oh man, good stuff. Kane got into a golf cart and followed them. Raven slipped right in front of the golf cart and Kane almost ran him over with it. Funny stuff. All three men finally made their way back into the arena and near the entrance ramp area. The Big Show picked up Raven with a gorilla press and got ready to toss him off the stage. However, Kane ran at the Big Show and attacked him, knocking both The Big Show and Raven onto some sort of wooden booth thingy at the bottom of the stage. Kane ran and hit a leg drop onto the Big Show, then coverd the Show and picked up the win! Guerrero w/Saturn d. Test via pinfall Eddie Guerrero entered first along with Perry Saturn, who was sporting a white furry top hat. WTF? Test entered next and the match was underway. Test went after Guerrero with a flurry of offensive moves. Test picked up Guerrero with a gorilla press and dropped him on the turnbuckle. However, Guerrero eventually knocked Test over the top rope and to the outside, but Test's right leg got caught and twisted in the top and middle ropes. Test hung from the ropes by his ankle as Saturn and Guerrero pounded away at him. The referee tried to remove Test's foot from the ropes, but had a really hard time doing so. Finally, Test's leg came free and he fell to the ground, where Guerrero continued to pound away at him. They eventually returned to the ring where Guerrero stayed on the offense. Guerrero locked on a sleeper hold and had it on for a good minute or so. Guerrero eventually let go of the hold and bounced off the ropes, but Test came back with a huge tilt-a-whirl slam! Test then hit a great tilt-a-whirl spinning powerbomb! However, after Guerrero rose to his feet, he distracted the referee, allowing Saturn to enter the ring and hit Test with a Fisherman's suplex type move. However, as Guerrero ran at Test again, Test caught him and nailed him with a pumphandle drop. Saturn got in on the action again, but was caught with a big boot by Test. Test then hit Guerrero with a big boot and went for the pin, but Dean Malenko ran out and pulled off Test. The referee was distracted by Malenko, which allowed Guerrero to grab the European belt from Saturn and nail Test across the head. Guerrero went for the cover and picked up the win. Angle d. Benoit via pinfall Kurt Angle made his entrance first and walked down the aisle in a very serious mood. Angle: "As an olympic hero and a representative of all 50 states, it's no secret that I'm not a big fan of the state of Texas. I saw your little flag, people, and it's missing about 49 other stars. And to be honest, I'm glad I'm having my match here tonight, because tonight I can illustrate a point... Chris Benoit, even these 65,000 bull riding, beer bellied Texas hee-haws know that I have never and will never tap out to the crossface! And by the way people, lose the freaking cowboy hats! You're not seven years old anymore!" Chris Benoit's theme hit next, and the Crippler entered to a good pop from the crowd. The bell rang and both men stared off. They finally locked up and both men began jocking for position in an amateur wrestling mode. They finally got up and stared off again to a huge pop from the crowd. They once again locked up and began to straight up mat wrestle, jocking for position. They rose to their feet again and the crowd once again popped. This was repeated one more time. Finally, as they wrestled on the mat, Benoit went for the Crossface, but Angle grabbed the ropes and broke the hold. They once again began to wrestle, with Benoit once again attempting to lock on the Crossface. However, Angle got his legs on the ropes, breaking the hold again. Angle crawled to the outside, to a few boos from the crowd. They once again began to wrestle and Benoit once again locked on the Crossface, but Angle grabbed the ropes, breaking the hold. Angle finally got the advantage on Benoit, picking him up and tossing him to the outside. Angle followed Benoit, tossing him into the steel ring steps. Back in the ring, Angle began to pound away at Benoit, but Benoit fought back with a few chops. However, Angle caught Benoit and hit him with a belly to belly overhead suplex... and another one! Angle picked up Benoit, but Benoit nailed him with a short arm clothesline. Both men began to exchange blows with Benoit eventually gaining the advantage with a knee to Angle's mid section. Benoit put Angle on the turnbuckle, then hit a great superplex. Benoit went for the cover, but Angle kicked out. Benoit then hit a German Suplex on Angle, then went for another one and hit it! However, as he went for the third, Angle reversed and went for the Ankle lock! However, Benoit countered and locked on the Ankle Lock on Angle! Benoit picked up Angle and locked on the Crossface, but Angle got out and locked on the Crossface on Benoit! Benoit kicked Angle and knocked him into the referee, knocking the ref out. Benoit locked on the Crossface on Angle and Angle began to tap, but there was no referee! Benoit went to wake up the ref, but Angle caught Benoit and hit him with the Olympic Slam! JR: "The Angle Slam!" WTF. 1-2-Benoit kicked out! Angle went to the top rope and went for the moonsault, but Benoit put up his knees! Benoit went to the top and hit the Diving Headbutt! He went for the pin, but Angle rolled out and rolled up Benoit with a handfull of tights for the pinfall! Angle wins! Chyna d. Ivory via pinfall Do I honestly have to describe this one? Shane d. Vince via pinfall Shane McMahon entered first and took the mic: "What's up Houston?! I'd like to give a special shout out to some of my new found friends! Some of the young stars of WCW! What's up boys?! Let me give a big shout out! What's going on? Now I'd like to introduce to you another special guest ref... he happens to be the special guest referee, let's hear it for Mick Foley!" A shot of a few WCW wrestlers sitting in the skybox was shown. I saw The Natural Born Thrillers, Mike Awesome, and Stacy Keibler. Uh oh, a few boos from the crowd. Not too good. Mick Foley made his entrance next and will play the special guest referee role in tonight's match. Vince McMahon's theme hit next and out came Vince, accompanied to the ring by his daughter Stephanie, who was looking hot as ever. The bell rang and the match was underway. Both Vince & Shane stared off against each other, with Vince slapping Shane. Shane hit Vince back, but Vince hit a flurry of right hands, knocking Shane into the corner. Vince began to kick away at Shane in the corner, screaming taunts at him. Shane fought back, however, hitting Vince with a few punches in the midsection, followed by a clothesline and a spear takedown! Shane hit Vince with a few double axe handle drops. Stephanie walked into the ring and slapped Shane in the face, then ran away. Shane once again turned his attention to Vince, dropkicking him on the outside. Shane grabbed a "KEEP OFF" sign and slammed it across Vince's back over and over. Shane pounded away at Vince several times on the outside, hitting him with a kendo stick. Shane grabbed Vince and tossed him onto the Spanish announce table, then went to the top rope! Stephanie ran towards Vince and attempted to shield him from Shane. However, Shane jumped down from the top rope and through the announce table with a huge elbow drop, but Vince moved! Great spot! Suddenly, Trish Stratus wheeled down Linda McMahon, as Vince ordered. Trish helped up Vince, but then slapped him in the face! Trish turned on Vince! Stephanie ran at Trish and slapped her, but Trish fought back and nailed Stephanie! They went into the ring and battled it out! Cat fight! Mick Foley ran into the ring and broke it up, but Stephanie slapped Mick then ran down the aisle. Trish chased her all the way to the back. Jeez, that's a long aisle. The camera finally returned its attention to ringside, where Vince rose to his feet and muttered "bitch" in front of his sedated wife, Linda's, face. Vince got up and walked towards Linda, but Foley stopped him, telling him "don't even think about it!" Foley wheeled Linda away from Vince, but Vince grabbed a steel chair and clocked Foley across the head, knocking him out! Vince picked up Linda, grabbed her off her wheelchair, and rolled her into the ring. Vince set up a chair in the corner, picked up Linda, and placed her on the chair. Vince grabbed Shane and rolled him into the ring, then tossed in four trash cans. Vince nailed Shane over and over with the trash cans as Linda watched in the corner. Vince went to hit Shane again, but Linda rose to her feet off the chair to a huge pop! Linda walked over to a shocked Vince McMahon and kicked him where the sun don't shine. Mick Foley ran in and went at Vince to a huge pop from the crowd. Shane McMahon ran in and set up Vince in the corner, then placed a trash can on him. Shane went to the adjascent corner, climbed up on the ropes and jumped all the way to the other corner with a dropkick on Vince! Van Terminator! Van Terminator! Shane went for the pin and got the win! Edge and Christain w/Rhyno d. Dudleys w/Spike & Hardys w/Lita via pinfall The Hardys entered first without Lita. Edge & Christian entered next, and the tag champs, the Dudleys entered last, along with their new (pretty bad) theme. The bell rang and all six men began to brawl. The Hardys pulled in a ladder early in the match, taking control over their four opponents. Jeff Hardy hit a great dropkick off a chair onto Edge, who attempted to climb the ladder and grab the gold early in the match. The Dudleys tried to bring in another ladder, but Jeff Hardy dropkicked them and pulled in the ladder himself. Jeff set up the ladder and climbed on top while Matt climbed on top of the other ladder! Jeff jumped down with a splash and Matt jumped down with a leg drop at the same time onto Edge! The Dudleys entered and knocked out the Hardys, then hit the Wassup headbutt on Jeff! D-Von then got the tables! One was set up in the middle of the ring and the other was set up in the corner. Buh Buh set up edge on the table in the middle of the ring, picked up Jeff Hardy, and powerbombed him through the table with Edge on it! On the outside, the Dudleys set up a stack of four tables, two and two on top of each other! Oh man. Another ladder was brought into the ring by Matt Hardy, making that three ladders in the ring, one table in the corner, and a chair in the other corner. The three ladders were set up right along each other right in the middle of the ring and all six men climbed on top! D-Von and Matt Hardy's ladder fell, sending them to the outside! Christian and Jeff Hardy's ladder fell next, causing both men to fall on the floor. Then, Buh Buh Ray and Edge both fell off of their ladders. Edge got up and began to climb up the ladder. Spike!!! Spike!!! Spike Dudley ran out and hit Edge with an Acid Drop off the ladder!!! Spike then hit Christian with an Acid Drop all the way to the outside through a table!!! Crowd: "ECW! ECW! ECW!" Buh Buh Ray climbed the ladder, but Rhyno ran out! Rhyno gored Buh Buh Ray, then gored Matt Hardy through the table in the corner! Edge tried to climb the ladder, but Lita ran out! Rhyno picked up Lita, but Spike hit him with a low blow and Lita hit a top rope hurricanrana on Rhyno! The Dudleys hit Rhyno with a doomsday device off the top rope, then picked up Lita and hit her with the 3D! On the outside, Jeff Hardy pulled out the infamous HUGE ladder! He set it up on the outside, and set up Rhyno and Spike Dudley on two tables just below! Jeff Hardy climbed the huge ladder and hit a Swanton bomb off of it through Spike and Rhyno! Oh my God! D-Von and Christian climbed the huge ladder and both went to grab the tag titles, but Matt Hardy pulled off the ladder and left both men dangling from the belts! They eventually both fell to the ground. Three ladders were set up in the ring. Jeff Hardy climbed up one then attempted to walk a tight tope across the ladders, but fell once he got to the third. He regained his balance, though, and once again tried to climb the ladder, but was left dangling as the ladder went out from under him. Edge climbed a ladder in the corner and speared Jeff Hardy in mid air!!! Buh Buh Ray and Matt Hardy set up the huge ladder in the middle of the ring and began to climb it. However, Rhyno entered the ring and pushed the ladder, knocking both Matt Hardy and Buh Buh Ray through the four stacked tables on the outside! Crowd: "Holy sh--!" Suddenly, D-Von and Edge began to climb a ladder in the middle of the ring and went for the tag titles, but both held each other up. Suddenly, Rhyno put Christian on his shoulders and helped him up the ladder... Christian grabbed the belts! Edge & Christian win! Wow. Gimmick Battle Royal - winner: Iron Sheik Howard Finkel announced that the WWF has set a record for any event in the Houston Astrodome. 67,925 people were in attendance. Suddenly, some Elvis music hit and Mean Gene Okerlund walked down the aisle wearing a white tuxedo! Another theme hit and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan walked out! Hey! Mean Gene and Bobby Heenan joined Paul Heyman and Jim Ross at the announce table to announce the gimmick battle royal! The Bushwhackers theme hit first and out came Butch and Luke! Duke "The Dumpster" Droese entered next, carrying a trash can. Out next was the Iron Sheik. Meanwhile, the Bushwhackers licked Mean Gene's head on the outside. Out next was Earthquake. Then came The Goon, along with his hockey equipment. Out next was Doink the Clown, who received a huge pop. Out next was Kamala, along with Kimchee and Harvey Whippleman. Out next was the Repo Man! Repo Man! Now that's a gimmick. Out next was Jim Cornette. Uhhh, ok then. Cornette had his tennis racket. Next came Nickolai Volkoff, with his USSR gimmick. And now... it's the Freebird, Michael Hayes. Next came The One Man Gang, with his One Man Gang gimmick, not as Akeem. Then... "the Gobbly Gooker" as they spelled it, came out. Oh my God. They're airing his appearance at the Survivor Series when the egg hatched again. No, no, no, no. Tugboat came out next, followed by Hillbilly Jim. This really makes you think what the WWF was smoking when they came up with these gimmicks. Out next came Brother Love! Brother Love: "I looooooooove you!" He is the man. And next came Sgt. Slaughter! They shows his Titantron video. Wow, this is a horrible video. The bell rang and the match was underway! Tug Boat picked up the Gobbly Gooker and tried tossing him out and did so! The Gooker's gone. The Repo Man was knocked out too somewhere... Nooooo. Tugboat was then knocked out. The Gooker, Repo Man, and Tugboat all eliminated Earthquake was knocked out next. Kimchee was knocked out next. Bushwhacker Butch, Jim Cornette, and Duke The Dumpster Droese were all knocked out next. The Goon and Nickolai Volkoff, then Bushwhacker Luke were all knocked out next. Doink is gone! Crowd: LOTS OF BOOS. Michael Hayes was knocked out next, followed by and Kamala. Slaughter picked up Brother Love and tossed him out of the ring, but the Sheik knocked out Slaughter and won the Battle Royal. Undertaker d. HHH by pinfall Motorhead was at the show and actually played Triple H's theme live as The Game made his entrance to a good pop from the Houston Astrodome crowd. Triple H walked over to Motorhead and pointed at them, then did his trademark water spit. Finally, after a few minutes of Triple H's entrance, The Undertaker's theme hit and out came the B.A with his motorcycle. No Limp Bizkit to perform his theme, even though the WWF has been using their music over and over to promote WrestleMania. Oh well. Triple H ran to the outside and attacked The Undertaker before the bell rang, and the match was underway. The Undertaker grabbed Triple H and tossed him into the backup Spanish announce table (which was one of those wooden Dudleys tables), and the table broke again. Poor Spanish announce team. Back in the ring, Triple H hit The Undertaker with a flying knee, but Taker got right back up to his feet and went to work on Triple H, grabbing him with an armbar and shouting out "old school!" The crowd popped and the Undertaker went to the top rope with Triple H's arm still in his grasp. However, before the Undertaker could jump down, Triple H pulled him down and regained the advantage. Triple H hit his knee face buster move, then went to the outside and grabbed a sledgehammer! Triple H went into the ring and got ready to swing the sledgehammer at the Undertaker, but the referee grabbed it away and went to toss it to the outside. Triple H kicked the Undertaker in the midsection then went for the Pedigree, but the Taker reversed and tossed Triple H with a monkey flip right into the referee, knocking him down. The Undertaker grabbed Triple H and hit him with a chokeslam then went for the cover. The referee got up and began to make the count, but Triple H kicked out. The Undertaker got up and purposely dropped an elbow drop to the referee, knocking him out. 'Taker grabbed Triple H and battled it out with him through the crowd and onto a stage in the middle of the crowd. Triple H grabbed a steel chair and cracked the Undertaker in the head a few times, then cracked him with the chair over and over as he was down. Triple H went to swing the chair another time as The Undertaker rose to his feet, but Taker grabbed him by the throat and chokeslammed him off the stage and out of sight! Crowd: "Holy sh--!" Whoa, loud chant there. A few EMTs were shown tending to Triple H at the bottom of the stage. The Undertaker, however, jumped down with an elbow drop onto Triple H. It looks like they were on a really soft platform, though. The Undertaker pushed off the EMTs and dragged Triple H back to ringside and finally back into the ring. The referee was still knocked out after the Undertaker elbow about ten minutes ago. Anyway... The Undertaker glanced at the corner of the ring, where he spotted the sledgehammer. He picked it up and swung at Triple H, but HHH hit him with a low blow. Both men began to fight it out, exchanging right hands. However, Triple H kicked 'Taker and gained the advantage, then went for a Tombstone, but The Undertaker reversed and he hit the Tombstone! The Undertaker went for the pin, but the referee was still out. The Undertaker got up and "woke up" the referee, then called for the Last Ride! However, as The Undertaker picked up Triple H, HHH grabbed the sledgehammer. The Undertaker got Triple H up for the Last Ride, but on the way up, Triple H clocked him with the sledgehammer! Triple H went for the pin, the referee got up and made the count... 1-2-NO! The Undertaker kicked out! Triple H put the Undertaker on the turnbuckle, then climbed up. However, The Undertaker grabbed him on the turnbuckle and hit him with the Last Ride! The Undertaker made the cover and picked up the win! Overall, I think TLC 2 and the main event were the best matches. The Gimmick Battle Royal sucked, they could've done better with this. About a lot of things And I will give up everything To be on my own again Free again" |
