Avengers in Faith -- Who We Are
Founded in late Dec-2001, Avengers in Faith (AiF) is an Everquest guild on the The Rathe server. If you've been sent over here to visit this website, it's most likely because you have expressed interest in joining our guild, or we -- seeing the spark of an Avenger within you -- have specifically asked you to come visit this area.

AiF is a very close-knit, family oriented guild. On any given night, you'll generally find it very easy to group up with other Avengers for a challenging night of XP Grinding, LDoN Adventuring, Epic Questing, or exploring new zones and regions in Everquest. We love doing that stuff, and have more fun when we're doing it as a guild team.

Although we're a family-oriented guild, we also do a fair number of guild raids. Friday night is our standard "Raid Night", where we work as a team on expanding / testing our raid skills, killing Boss MOBs to join new RTA rotations, or advancing further in the end-game content of each Everquest expansion. We shedule guild events on at least 1-2 other nights each week (Wednesday and Thursday seem to be our other "big turn-out" nights). During these guild events, participation by all members is encouraged -- though not required.

Raiding 2-3 nights a week allows our guild members the rest of the week to advance their own personal interests (trade skills, XP grinding, etc).

We choose our membership carefully, and are very selective in the recruitment process. Our success as a guild has, at it's cornerstone, a long-standing friendship in our guild mates. We group often with each other because that makes the game fun for us. We care more for each other as people and players, than about lewt, levels, epics, and uberness and all that other stuff. We want to see each other succeed, and believe that by helping our fellow guild members, all that lewt, levels, epics and uberness will come of itself. Fun first.

We do not have any restrictions on class or race, but have a minimum level restriction of 50+. Size of membership has never been our focus (we believe you can achieve far more with a small, well-disciplined raid group then with a large, unruly mob of raiders), but quality of membership most certainly is.

In other posts throughout this forum, you will read of our Guild Charter, our Code of Ethics, and information on how you might become a member of our guild. Look around these areas within the Front Gate as much as you like, but know that areas deeper in this message board are off limits, and available ONLY to members of the guild or our allies.
