Battleship Texas Hard Hat Tours 2006
I received the following information today and thought I would pass it along.
Hello Everyone,
I hope everyone is having a great summer. My summer started off with me getting married. So if in the future you may see my last name changing to Barbara Graf, just FYI so we can all stay in touch. We are gearing up for the fall season aboard the Battleship TEXAS once again. Our hard hat tours for the fall season have been set and reservations are already being taken. The first tour is October 14th and the second tour is November 18th. If any of you or anyone you know would like to take the hard hat tour please let me know and I will be glad to book a reservation for you. The cost is still $30.00 per person (due the day of the tour, NO advance payment is necessary) to anyone 14 years of age and older. 100% of all money raised from these hard hat tours goes to restoration aboard the TEXAS. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to book you a tour, and please come visit us this winter when we will have our Yuletide TEXAS celebration all month long starting Dec 1st - Dec 30th. See the ship decorated throughout the month of December, adorned with lights, ornaments and decorations in the spirit of the season just the way the crewmembers did while serving their country aboard the historic navy vessel in the 1940's.Then on Dec 2nd & 3rd the Pearl Harbor Day Ceremony. Please join us in paying our respects to those whose sacrifices saved our freedom. This event commemorates the Dec. 7th, 1941 bombing of Pear Harbor, bringing the United States into WWII.
