Being the HUGE Corrs fan that I am...
... I have to present to you their new album "Home".
The Corrs released a new album titled "Home" on September 26th. I am a huge fan of theirs, so I had the CD pre-ordered from like... three months before its release. I even had to get my US dollars exchanged into UK pounds to buy it, since it wasn't released in America.
This album is different than their last three albums. Their past few albums have been more pop-ish... but this album isn't called "Home" for nothing! This album takes the listener back to Ireland. The CD has two songs in Gaelic even...

Track 2 - "Spancill Hill" - A song that feels natural right away. Maybe ‘nice’ isn’t the right word cause it’s pure, real and gives you the real taste of Ireland. You can feel Spancill Hill, where ever it might be.
Track 4 - "Black is the Colour" - This song has a more "Borrowed Heaven" (their album before this one) style to it - true to tradition but modern.The drum and orchestra gives it a dramatic and heavy vibe.
Track 6 - "Buachaill on Eirne" - This is the first song in the album that is sung in Gaelic. So you can’t sing a long, but humming is easy and I caught myself humming the song. It’s nice, it’s powerful and it exhales Ireland. Not because the lyrics are in Gaelic, but because of the vibe of the song.

The instrumentals on the CD are wicked awesome as well... I'll upload those later.

Well their album artwork is an improvement! I am glad to hear you like the album so much. As i have said elsewhere, i have not really been into the Corrs for about 5-6 years now. I will though give this a listen - even if i do not buy it.

The Corrs are a little gay, but, their ealier stuff was of some musical merit.
