HEAVEN & EARTH: Unseen by the Naked Eye. Phaidon, 2002. With the
text & photos of Katherine Roufoux and David Malin.
Photos include microscopic, cellular level organisms in various
surroundings, insect phenomena, satellite images of earth, and the
amazing and convulsive events of outer space.
Your description of the micro versus macroscopic photos reminds me of that L. Carrington quote, that "the task of the left eye is to peer thru the microscope while the right eye looks through the telescope," or something like that.
You also mentioned that the book has texts? Like, poetic texts?
The text consists of an introductory article about the book's contents, methods of photography, etc (which include the Hubble space telescope) as well as informational captions for each picture.
