Check In
Sorry, I'm not creative so this is pretty much the same check in from the other forum.
I haven't been here in months so I figured I'd check in.
Been unemployed since December, but three job prospects now. Our house up north of Chicago sold in 18 days back in March, so we're living in a townhome south of Chicago where our house is being built. Lots more market research jobs down here.
House will be ready in 37 days. We pick the locks and photograph the progress everyday. I don't have the pics, they are on Paul's computer. I'll see if Aspen has some I'll ask her for them and post them. The house can't be done soon enough - this apartment crap sucks, especially when I have 4000 sq ft waiting for me 7 miles away.
Jordan is now 13 months, and quite a handful. A definite charmer and flirt. She says "Daddy", "Doggie", and "Mama" quite well. Blair is now in a regular elementary school with an aid and doing very well. The new teachers say the old school really put him at a disadvantage, but he's catching up very well. He has taken up website development and enjoys it much.
Jasper went to live with my parents in Indiana, where he is spoiled and much happier without children. Umlaut is Umlaut, but lovable as always.
Paul continues to be cancer free, is doing well in his job, and is currently back in Denver. He's also starting a new company with his boss on the side, and they've already got two new clients. I'm the marketing director of the new company, but there is no paycheck in it yet.
I still have to preorder the new book. Perhaps I'll go do that now so I can join in on the discussion.
