Check in the mail?
Hello to All;
I was wondering if anyone here has received benefits from the Government?
I applied in June and went through examinations and it was looking good. Then I get this check in the mail from the Federal Government that has my name and then it has the words "and tax refund". I am not expecting a tax check back from the government. I was wondering if you get your first check in the mail and then you were told that you have been approved.

Does anyone know?
