Citizenship Approved
Greetings, Mr Surgeon.
We currently do not have an Interior Minister to officially grant your citizenship, so I shall do so in my capacity as President. You arrive at Talamthom in time to witness our November 2005 Elections, which should see the installation of a new Dáil (Parliament/Legislature) and Uachtaráin (President/Executive).
Your first task should be to complete the Census (in this very office), and head over to An Clos to meet and greet. If you wish to stand for office, you will need to either join one of the existing parties or indicate your interest in standing as an Independent candidate.

We do actually have an Interior Minister but that is beside the point. You are allowed to found your own party if there are two of you! I suggest you canvas for likeminded people in An Clós. Explain what you intend to push for etc and take it from there.
I am unsure how many citizens Shantor has currently, we'll know more clearly after the Census is completed I guess.

Tom -- As a technically trivial point, Mr Gray is, I believe, "Director of the Interior" and not actually a Minister. A more pressing question is: what happened to the guy? Caught up with Treithar?

I did ask him to come a deal with this. Anyway we can deem your acceptance as final - until those constitutional ammendments go through I believe to not be outside the law for Presidents to accept applications.
