AAdmin Forum Emperor! Posts: 550 (2/22/04 4:11 am)	Clarification regarding Macedonia Forum! Just so there is no confusion bellow is an explanation. As far as Macedonia Forum is concerned I was clear about what languages are used there and those are English, Slavomacedonian and Greek. Bellow is a somewhat clarification of Macedonia Forum. Macedonia Forum covers the Macedonian region (thus it is in effect multiregional forum since the region covers parts of three countries) rather then just Republic of Macedonia (internationally known as F.Y.R.O.M.) and Macedonia region consists of Aegean Macedonia in Greece (2million people), former Yugoslavian or Vardar Macedonia (2mllion people), well as Pirin Macedonia in Bulgaria (0.4million people) and Mala Prespa region (0.2 million people) in southeastern Albania. Total Macedonian region has 4.6 million people. Principal people in the region of Macedonia who identify themselves with the Macedonian name are Greeks (43.4% of the population of Macedonia region), to Greeks ancient Hellenistic Macedonia is alpha and omega of spreading ancient Helenism globally, and Slavomacedonian (1.4m. in R.M., 0.3m. in Bulgarian Pirin Macedonia and 0.1m. in Mapa Prespa makes for 39.1% of of the population of Macedonia region) and those two are by far the most dominant people (combined compose 82.5% of the population of Macedonia region) in the region of Macedonia. Albanians in Macedonia as well as elsewhere identify primarily with being Albanians of Illyrian origin (Albanians in Macedonia demanded that their region there be known as Ilirida, thus clearly associating themselves with ancient Illyrians, and not Maqedonida or come other name that would be associated with the name Macedonia) and Albanians in R.M. compose around 30% of that country or 0.6million people and 0.1m. in Mala Prespa which is 15.2% of of the population of Macedonia region. Do something to recognize the Albanians of Macedonia.... 1. Either we speak albanian language in macedonia forum 2. Open extra regional Ilirida with moderators from Albania 3. I Was checking other Balkan Forums in Ezboard out of curiosity, they are so poor organized and very little visits with ugly colors. This is by one of the most visit Balkan Forums in Internet Nowdays! and part of it is tolerance and fairness.
shpata Moderator Posts: 1927 (2/22/04 6:13 am)	thank you aadmin id like to ask where do you get the figures of 0.2 million people in albanian side of prespa? albanian side of prespa is not densly populated and the villages on the shores of the lake are slavo-macs. they do not account more than 10-20,000 people.

rex362 Moderator/Comedian Posts: 995 (2/23/04 12:23 am)	Re: Clarification regarding Macedonia Forum! mmmmmmm.....the Ilirida section would be ok...but in all essences I myself was refering 2 a fyrom section where we can speak albanian and all the languages spoken in fyrom...I am still interested in communicating with all the people of fyrom ...bcs still they r my neighbors regardless if they are roma,vlach,bulgarian,serbian and also their r many alb speakers mind you that are not albanian...1/2 the slavs in my area speak albanian .... ..basicly a fyrom section with ALL lingos ..even greek,since fyrom doese have a few agean slavs that might remember their greek speaking skills..(usualy the older crowd) Edited by: rex362 at: 2/23/04 12:28 am

Lived and worked with Albanians and still do, no problems at all. And just to clarify things We Are Macedonians Not Slavs. Ragrds

This forum will become Makedonia / Macedonia (Aegean & Ancient)[/b] and it has to do with original ancient Hellenistic Macedonia and it modern succesor Aegean Macedonia which is also located ehere the ancient one was hense also the reason why it gets to keep the URL. Languages Greek and English. New forum is called Makedonija / Macedonia (R.M.)[/b] and it referes to R.Macedonia internationally known as FYROM. Considering sensitivities on both sides as well as taking historical reasons into effect I decided to name them the way I did. I will put Homer of Makedonija, Ljuboten, Egeec and Rex as moderators in the other forum and I will transffer all the related topics to the other forum. Native language, Albanian and English. Case c
