do you think your mother looks thracian? she looks slavic...out and out. She should be the best proof for your, that Bulgarians are far away from being a native balkan nation...try to be content with that.

Haha..What is your perception of native Bulgarian ppl? Do you think thracians had same appereance like ppl in Greece??
I think genetically we are much closer to Romanians then any other balkan nation.
Btw, this woman is a close person to me (but not a relative). And she's actually Estonian!:)

yes of course what else. Most Bulgarians I know look northern slavic...like the woman above...whoever she might be...altghough following the literature many shall be med..

What literature.. on the contrary, Thracians (compaired to Hellenes) were described mostly as lighthaired, their pigmentaion and eyes as not dark.
