Re: Code M Homepage
I subscribed to code M a while ago.
Mind you, it's not worth joining to download the Colin Mcrae Rally 3 demo (can be obtained elsewhere anyway). If it wasn't for the fact that I have a fast connection at work, and a 128mb usb stick drive to take files home on, I would have been mightily pissed off at having to download it.
Colin McRae 2 was/is a decent rally "game", CMcR3, is not as good as CMcR2.
Re: Code M Homepage
I used to think that multi use devices were the best thing you could have, such that i wouldn't buy a memory stick device unless it could do something else to.
Given you broad range of uses for yours, makes me not want to go out a buy one for myself. However, in T3 (the best British Magazine?) I have come across a new version, same size as yours does the same thing, but also has a MP3 player built-in. While the MP3 player may not be the greatest player around, if your going to have a memory usb stick you might as well have a little more.
As I noted above that was the way I used to think. Sure the MP3 USB memory stick would be ok; but convergence isn't always a good thing. In a recent article on Hand held devices that do multiple things the author pointed out something most people wouldn't have thought of. Having a PDA that is a Cell phone and MP3 Player, GPS unit, Digital Camera and lets you type up reports and such sounds like the ultimate tool for the business Frequent Traveller, except that when he was testing just such a device he found a problem. He wasn't allowed to use the cell phone on the airplane (other places would be hospitals or EFi sensitive areas) The device he was using had to be turned on so he could listen to his MP3, but that would also turn on the Cellphone. So No MP3's, No E-Mail to look at, No E-book to read, No taking pictures while in the plane, No tracking your location on the GPS. So much for the convergent technologies. Sure it would be no problem (i Hope) on a train or a bus, but sometimes it is better to carry two devices then one.
Your USB stick thing, does it make a good key chain?
