 Cough Cough,Hack,Hack(wheeze) cough,cough
 I swear, people, that is what I sound like right now.A few days ago, it all started with a some sneezing,and nose running.All the nasally goo was clear, so I assumed it was my allergies, kicking my butt once again.But NOOOOOOOOOOOO,it has now developed into one hell of a truly painful,and annoying COLD.I have drank, popped,and brewed everything in the house that could possible do ANY good-and nothing helps.
I must have a fever,because I feel like I'm freezing to death,but it isn't particularly cold in here(at least that's what everyone else tells me).This is the first really bad cold I've had in a LOOOOONG time,and add to that,that I have FM, so every cough is causing muscle spasms ALL over my body,and I have one nostril that will NOT clear enough for me to breathe,AND, I'm in a flare because last week was that time of the month,and I just want to curl up somewhere and cry.I can't even play with Spike,because if this turns out to be the flu, he could catch it.
Now for the REAL rant.I found out a couple of days ago that the Exotic Pet and Reptile Show is THIS weekend.I have made plans to be there with bells on,because one of my goals in life is to raise and breed some reps,and since it takes a while to raise them to the right age to breed, I was going to get a headstart by purchasing at least one lizard this weekend.I don't care if this crap goes into full-fledged pneumonia, I WILL be there,if for NO other reason than because the NC senate is threatening to pass a law outlawing " inherently dangerous animals",which will include any boa larger than 8 feet(common boas can grow to 12,and are mostly quite docile critters),and any other animal that Animal Control deems fit to call "dangerous" (ie.ferrets). Thank you very much,PETA, who seemd bent on making life miserable for anyone who wants to own anything other than a domestic dog,domestic cat,parakeet,or goldfish(if they had thier way,no one would own any pet of any kind,really)There will be a petition signing at the show this weekend,and my name WILL be on it.
Well, my nose tells me it's time for another sneezing fit,so off I go,to blow my brains out(on kleenex,for those who may be worried that it really is bad enough to want to die).Everyone please hope that I'm better by Saturday morning.The next reptile show wont be for another 6 months,which may be too late for all us reptile lovers.
By the way, PETA is taking this show around the country.South Carolina just recently had this bill voted down,and New York is considering it,even as we speak.Apparently, they've decided not to go in alphabetical order.
