Debate rules: do NOT post until you read!!!
ok this is one of the few rooms where the rules will be pretty strict and very firm. Mainly because this could blow up in our face if not handled right from the begining. If this board creates a problem, i WILL delete it. any post breaking the rules WILL be deleted without warning. Disagree but be respectfull.
1) no name calling (we are no longer 
2) stick to the topic and do NOT make personal attacks...you may beleive it but we all know there is no pat right for every person.
3) If a person gets offended or the disscussion is to heated...use the STOP sign....made just for and only to be used in THIS room! This allows u time to get out of a debate without loosing ur temper.
4) have fun...i expect it to get heated, but not violent...and yes words CAN be violent.
5) debates will be started by myself, esta or shad. and whoever begins the debate will mod it and not participate in the debate and keep it within the rules*.
Lets se if we can have intellectual stimlation without loosing or tempers hehehehe

No, only the administrators will begin debates...shad, myself and esta. I plan to starta suggested debate thread soon for you all to post what you would like to debate, but by having the person responsible for the thread a nuetral party, we assure that each debate is moderated by someone not wrapped up in making or breaking a point...make sense?

Because its damn hard to search up a moderater willing to oversee a debate and i refuse the have certain ifflmamtory issues dicussed without close supervision. Certain things we believe with the very fiber of our being....these things we will defnd at any and all cost....even the cost of the peace of our forum....a forum in which I promised to maintain a peacfull atmosphere. I have seen many many forums where sore issues are debated without confinement and few rules...I dont find it conductive for maintaining peace. therefore, since COTES is extremly important to me, I am firm on these rules. This way from the word GO anuetral calm party is present to oversee the thread.

was coffeeless....dressing 4 kids and signing papers...not to mention working on 1 hour sleep again... tends to make me sharper then i aim to be rofl sorry bout that.
