Definition of "weapon"?
Hey,
Wow, that's kind of an ominous subject line. Anyway...
I was doing a last run down on the "what to bring/what not to bring" lists and I saw no weapons (which yes, is perfectly understandable), but it's kind of a broad term. Are we talking homeland security/TSA definition of a weapon where corkscrews, swiss army knives and leafblowers aren't allowed, or police terms where it would be more like just no switchblades and guns?
Well, I pretty much want to know if I can bring my swiss army knife. Those little scissors get used a lot by me. And the screwdriver occasionally.
Thanks!

Re: Definition of "weapon"?
We probably fall somewhere in between. Knitting needles (once banned by the TSA) would be ok, fingernail clippers - also fine. As are scissors. But anything with a blade would be not so fine. A good guideline would be what your school thinks of as a weapon and what it allows or does not allow.

So, leave the swiss army knife at home, please.
