Deuce/Raven joining thread AIM convo
Barefoot321 [12:35 AM]: Basic idea} wolf form: is black to gray underbelly, blue green eyes, on the smallish side no pups no mate willing if there is interest later on Human face: about 5'1 black hair blue green eyes, looks small, and fragile is very strong high cheek bones tannish skin tone. Overall temperament is mild mannered, very patient, likes kids, enjoys pack life
--------------------------
Wolftears137 [12:48 AM]: Deuce walked slowly through the borders, her head down, her bi-colored eyes distant. So much had happened recently, and yet it felt like nothing at all had happened. the chill autumn wind blew about her, mussing her snow white pelt. the silken fey paused as she caught a scent unfamiliar to her, her eyes narrowing against the wind. "Who goes there?"
Barefoot321 [12:51 AM]: Raven was lost her own pack far gone now. There was a minor cut across her muzzle, it would scar but that didn't matter to her. Walking in wolf form gave her strength and energy her human form no longer had. Catching the smell of another she paused, the call out worried her and she fought to keep the sound out of her voice. "A lostling. My pack has been killed, and I seem to be lost in the wind." It was a bit flowery but hell she was to tired to really think and speak with the times.
Wolftears137 [12:59 AM]: Deuce raised an eyebrow. "A lostling? Well, then, come forward so I may see you." Great. A newcomer. Just what she didn't need. Another bitch to compete with for her darling deacon's attention. Someone to steal her man away. her nostrils flared as the hackles on her ruff raised. The wench was damned lucky she was dealing with her and not jorn. She, at least, wouldn;t attack without provocation. She was nice like that. But if she thought she'd get a pie of Deuce's pie, she was sadly mistaken.
Barefoot321 [1:02 AM]: Raven came out, like some strange shadow. Wonderful she thought to herself, a bitch with an attitude promblem. Couldn't of found a nice calm female to meet, noooo had to be found by a pissy one. She sighed as she came forward, knowing she looked like hell. Raven kept her fur down and her tail down as well, she had no place here yet, or ever. Clearly this female needed a good slap around, but that wasn't Raven's job,. What she needed was a place to stay that was safe.
Wolftears137 [1:09 AM]: The snow pelted femme lifted her head, her tail wagging once, indicating no hard feelings, then was still again. "And what business do you have in Deadwood lands?" yeah. If jorn were here, he'd have already chased this one off. She didn't even look like she could survive with the pack, and that was just what they didn't need, was some malnourished mutt dragging down the pack. Though, doubtless Idrian would say that the strangth of the pack would lie in it's diversity. But that was his opinion, not hers
Barefoot321 [1:12 AM]: Raven shifted her body take a few steps closer. "I did not realize until now it was DeadWood Pack I was near. My pack was small without name, we fought and killed out hunters but I am lead to believ I am the only one left. My mate was killed, and all I seek is safety for a night or two. I can hunt my own food, if that is the problem." Raven wasn't blind, and she could tell no pack wanted a weakling. What this mourning canine wanted was a place to lay where there were others like her and sometime to think and hunt on her own.
Wolftears137 [1:17 AM]: "yeah. You're in the lands I patrol." Ire made the fey's vocals tight, but then she relaxed some. "What is your name, child?" Child. As if the wolfess was one of the tinier of the species. Perhaps Deuce could relent. Deadwood could use new blood.
Barefoot321 [1:19 AM]: Annoyance raced through Raven, CHILD? she yelled in her mind. The bitch thinks she'll boss me around. "I'm no child bu my Name is Raven, I go by Brujo." She kept it quick and short. "How large is the territory?" Raven tried to size the female up.
Wolftears137 [1:24 AM]: questions. The snowy pelted fey had no time for questions, unless she was the one asking. "I'll be asking the questions, Child." This time the fey deliberatley emphasized the child, sensing how it irritated the femme. "And if you seek safety for a night or two, Deadwood is not for you. However..." here the fey paused, then continued, "If you seek a home...there we may be of assistance. Child."
Barefoot321 [1:27 AM]: Fighting back a snarl, Raven was older she knew that. How she hated the irritating kind. "If its a home you offer I'll take it." Still the sound was stren as if she was speaking to a child. Raven could play games as well. "And what should I call you young one? What scout has found me?" tit for tat after all.
Wolftears137 [1:31 AM]: deuce snorted softly, still sore about ONLY being a scout, when it was the postion of Alphess she had fairly won. "I am called Deuce. And i can not accpet you into the pack. However..." She barely repressed a resigned sigh. "Jorn can." She spat the name distastefully, not wanting to call him, but knowing the matter of the newcomer was out of her fair paws. She howled softly, rather wishing her darling deacon would show, rather than the brute, jorn.
Barefoot321 [1:34 AM]: The name sent a bad taste in her mouth,. If he was like the ones that came after her before, there would be no home for her here. Only fighting until she found new land. "What do I need to know about this Jorn?"
Barefoot321 [1:35 AM]: ((I need to bail, sorry))
Wolftears137 [1:36 AM]: It's okay. OOCly accepted as a gamma.
The way the she-wolf acted about the name "Jorn" Raven worried. It didn't sound like he was the type to be cuddley and freidly. And judging by the look of the territory, this was going to be a pack more rough and tumble, then easy going like her own pack had been. She gave a mental sigh, she would need to know how to handle this male and the alpha and his mate as well, stepping on paws was something to avoid.
"Tell me about this Jorn, what is he like? And yuour Alpha and his mate. I need to know so I cannot cause any more problems then I will already be by coming in." Raven stood like a magestic creature in the cold winter light. Her brow furrowed in a human like way. 'Brujo what have you gotten your paws stuck in now?' she thought to herself.
The truth depends upon the light, and tomorrow might be clearer then the next.

Deuce snorted. "Jorn is no teddy bear," she muttered, unknowing echoing the femmes thoughts. "Jorn is our beta. And Deacon has no mate." though he could have had me.
Jorn heard the summonning howl and snarled silently. How dare that little she-bitch call for him. She had NO right. He bristled angrilly as he strode to where the white she-bitch stood, with another femme at her side. Great. Now the bitch had a lover. "what? What the @#%$ do you ingnorant bitches want?"
Re: Deuce/Raven joining thread AIM convo
Raven sighed softly, all good to know. Though it seemed that this female wanted to be the Alpha's mate, it was a smell she had when she mentioned the Alpha.
"Good to know the Beta isn't soft. And I have no Alpha female to worry about. Its harder to fit in when the mates not friendly."
Ravens black fur bristled at the male. She was fresh from battle and had the smell or stink still on her. Raven was a smallish wolf but she wasn't weak, nor was she one to take an insult lightly.
"I maybe in others territory, but I will not be insluted." It was a soft voice almost like new snow but the tone under it was steel. At all times Raven was a lady.
"I'm here asking for safety, a place in the pack if your willing. But I'm not a bitch for your paws to play with." Raven stood stright paws squarded and her body squarded up if he jumped her he'd be sorry.
However she was still waiting for the female to jump her as well. so she kept eyes on them both.

Safety. A place. In the pack? In his pack? with a jolt, the midnight pelted male noticed the tenseness btewwen the two feys. Maybe they weren;t lovers, then. Maybe this new one could take his side in the upcoming battle for the pack. "What's your name?"
Deuce's bicolored eyes narrowed. the jerk had a gentle tone in his voice that boded ill for one of the wolves in attendance at this impromptue meeting. And chances were good the ill tidings were aimed her way.
Re: Deuce/Raven joining thread AIM convo
Raven kept her body still, unsure about this male, and his sudden change in tone. That gentle velvet over steel tone came out again, as she was ready for almost anything.
"My name is Raven of the Katlyn pack, though we raely used the name ourselves and was never spoken of outside our presance. I go by Bruja as well as Raven."
She wondered where this would go, would she get safe passage, a new home? She missed her mate, and that sadness for all the hardness she put out leak into her eyes a wee bit.

"Bruja, eh? He moved cloeser and nuzzled her shoulder in an apologetic manner. "I apologize for my previous rudeness, Bruja. but our lovely Deuce woke me from my nap, as she is wont to do." He offered Deuce a slick, hatred laced smile, then returned his attention to the fey befor ehim. "what could you offer Deadwood, bruja?"
Deuce snarled sliently with impotent fury. where was idrian when she needed him? As a matter of fact, where was deacon? Surely he could prevent this all too obvious folly from occuring. The glare she gave Jorn was laden with hatred, full of sound and impotent fury, signifying nothing less than her absolute wish that the brute would drop dead.
Re: Deuce/Raven joining thread AIM convo
She pulled back slightly not wanting to be touched. The last male that touched her had died. Taking up her ground again and not showing that she saw what he was doing to the other female, that she was starting to feel kinda bad for her, she gave a diplomatic answer.
"I'm good with pups if there are any. I was the wisewoman of our pack. Most were werewolves. I delived babies and I helped keep the peace. I'm a good scout and I fight well."
Again the tone was flat. There was a hope she'd get off easy and be able to mourn at some point, as she missed her mate terriblely, and then take some joy in the fact that she had killed those that had killed her pack. And she began to want to know the female better, there was something almost off about this male.

She fights well. Just what the midnight hued male needed, actually. Mulling over the options, he decided on his most obvious course of action. He grinned widely, th grin never reaching his eyes. "Great. I'll accept you as a gamma, then. Welcome home, brujo."
Deuce stiffend, the got up abruptly and stalked off, muttering a stream of imprecations under her breath, most of them, but not all, aimed at Jorn.
Re: Deuce/Raven joining thread AIM convo
Raven nodded once, showing her submission to one of higer rank, given it had been the same rank she'd had before.
However she planed on following the female to get more information out of her. Jorn, was a brute that reminded her more of a snake then a wolf. Or at the very least a jackle.
Raven felt bad for the female, Deuce, was her name? but wasn't sure how to fix it. She wasn't after ranking, or power, just safety. And a pack she would fit into, perhaps that was too much to ask for?
Now Raven knew it was soon time to meet this Alpha. And then worry about him.
"What will be required of me from this pack?" She asked like a good little soilder, not wanting to seem offhanded but curious as to his plans.

Jorn arched an eyebrow. "As Gamma, you will be our...peacekeeper." Heh. Peace. As if. Not in this pack, not with little bitches like Deuce running about. Not bloody likely.
"You will be the one to contain the occasional arguments that may arise. And if you have problems, you bring it to either Deacon or myself. Not a problem, right?" His golden eyes bored into her, trying to pierce her soul, trying to read her mind, see what she was trhinking.
"Basically make sure no one is trying to kill each other. Smooth waters, yes? And if it gets to be too much take it over my head to someone who has more muscle." She gave it stright out.
Still she wanted to go after Deuce and see what was wrong. Find out more about the male infront of her. He was trying to get into her brain it seemed, and all he would be getting was a stone wall. She never shared her thoughts, it was too personal, only her mate had ever been in her mind.

"yep. that's it in a nutshell, babe." She was one smart cookie, he'd give her that. It was almost a shame she'd be nothing but a meat sheil when he took over the deadwood pack. Golden eyes held a hnt of the darkness that laid behind as he gazed at her a moment more.
Finally, he glanced at the sky. "It's growing late, m'dear. Shall we head for home?" He offered her a smile and indicated the direction Deuce had gone, the way towards Deadwood.
Re: Deuce/Raven joining thread AIM convo
She almost, almost growled when she was called "babe" but she nodded and agreed to follw him. She wanted to speak with Deuce. It seemed more important then anything now.
She really didn't trust this male, and planed to sleep far away from him.
