Ezboard Eidolon Community - Delhazan ID Hello, I have a couple of questions. First of all, I have an id of Delhazan at Ezboard, and another at Yuku. I made a new one at Yuku before I figured out about migrating my ezboard id. Now it won't let me migrate the original ID because that's taken at Yuku. Only both of them are mine. Is there any way to fix that? Second, I had a board at Ezboard called Eidolon. It disappeared way back when during that huge blitz of boards going down. I never salvaged it then and it's still gone. Now, however, Yuku is saying that the name is taken and I can't make a new one for Eidolon. Except it doesn't exist because it got destroyed or whatever it is that happened to it. And yet... it exists enough to say I can't remake it. Is there any hope of pulling the original site out of the wayward ethers and bringing it to Yuku? If that's not possible, is there any way to free up the name so I can start over? For what it might be worth, the My Community tab is still there in the control center, but it takes me to a page that says it doesn't exist. If I try to go to eidolon.yuku.com, it takes me to the main Yuku page to search for sites. Thanks, Delhazan |

Re: Ezboard Eidolon Community - Delhazan ID For the account migration problem, please submit a Helpdesk ticket and someone will migrate your account manually. You don't need to be logged in to submit a ticket. beidolon should not still be in your control center, but there have been a few migrated or deleted boards that lingered. Yuku isn't letting you use the name because of that, but the board doesn't actually exist. Unfortunately, as mentioned here, the gentleman who was the only remaining ezboard technician passed away a few weeks ago. I will try to find someone to take the board out of your control center to see if the domain name can be freed so you can create a Yuku community with that name. It may be a while before that happens. If you're anxious to get started, you might want to think about creating a Yuku board with a different domain name, e.g. eidolon02 or eidolonrevisited, or whatever suits you. Re: Ezboard Eidolon Community - Delhazan ID I'm in no special hurry and I'd much rather have the original board name for my community. Thank you for your efforts on that behalf. My sympathies on your loss. If you could let me know when the board is either found or the name freed up, I would appreciate it. It will save me from having to keep checking every so often to see if it's free yet. For my user name, I will submit at the link given. Thank you very much. |
