FAO: Mr Prendergast
Sir,
It has reached a point now where I must raise an official eyebrow at your absenteeism. This has now risen in conversation with Ministers and foreign dignitaries with sufficient frequency that I am forced to take some form of action.
If you cannot make some display of participation by Saturday morning at the latest, I will be forced to put into action a vote of no confidence in the Dáil Tománn, and start the process of your removal from office, both as Prime Minister and as head of the Military Planning Office.
I am deeply sorry to have to do this, but I'm afraid you have pushed too far.

Gentlemen we have to be cautious that this situation doesn't complicate the DLP's internal stability.

An interesting debate for us to have at Party HQ i feel. As long as there is a marked (no pun intended) then i see no reason to upset the balances yet. One idea i did have though the other day was a rotational leadership. We all take 6 months or something, i dunno what you think about an idea like that?

I have no pressing desire to lead the DLP, Mr Prendergast. I do have a mandate to work for the continued growth and stability of the Poblacht na Tománn. It is in my capacity as President of the Republic that I am forced to act on your absenteeism-- the office of Prime Minister is an important one, and (though we managed it last term), it is difficult to function effectively without one.
