FRUSTRATION! Gripe no, 1:- I'd thought I struck gold when I found this site, but there's such a lack of response to postings. Where is everybody? I'm new here, and have posted TWICE for help, encouragement & info on boats, but so far, absolutely no reply (ok, there was one response, further down the board) Some of you may think that there's enough info on the message boards already - and there is - but you can't beat the personal touch; y'know.' welcome to the site' and all that. This is a unique site; possibly the only one of its kind in the UK & it's a shame that it is so underused. Gripe no 2: I don't know about you, but those ads that keep on popping up when I'm trying to read a page are really p***ing me off!! Cheers! mazg |

frustration
I see what you mean -still not much in the way of replies is there.
Perhaps if your questions were specific you would get a better reponse. As a current owner I would be quite happy to pass on anything I can to help - or at least hopefully point you in the right direction. The trouble is there is so little activity on this site that I rarely visit it myself now! |

pop ups I know the message board has many pop up ads, when we first used the host these ads were not present. We are looking into a new host for the message board so bear with us. I wish the message board was used more and think maybe to ads are putting people off so we will see what we can do about changing things Regards Martin |

frustration hi, i've not found the pop ups to be a problem, other than that the site is pretty useful. My girlfriend and i have just started researching into getting a boat to live abord in sussex and this page is practically the only one of it's kind - if there are any others anyone knows of we'd be grateful to be steered in their direction. thanks |

Moorings and canal boats Over the passed 3 months I have visited numerous web sites trying to obtain info on residential moorings, and I am getting nowhere fast, this site just like all the others seem to think that the world comes to an end just north of Watford. All I get is London, London, London. I live close to the Cheshire ring, the Leeds Liverpool canal, and a few other canals, so I would be a complete madman to want to even contemplate a mooring in ....Sorry....I cannot bring myself to mention that "L" word again. |
