I have this book in my collection that is specific spells and such using herbs and things one can normally find in the grocery store. The book is The Supermarket Sorceress by Lexa Roséan.
I'll be posting some of the spells in it here to share with you guys...

To Banish Negativity
An excerpt from The Supermarket Sorceress by Lexa Roséan:
"The regenerative powers of eggs are remarkable. The egg is symbolic of the life force. The most sacred symbol of the Goddess and creation, it carries great healing powers. Eggs are great stress relievers. They can absorb negative and excess emotional energy. As a matter of fact, eggs are such excellent absorbers I never recommend ingesting one without salting it first. Salt is a purifier. If you salt the egg you can insure you will not ingest any negative energy the egg may have absorbed. In general it is never advisable to eat foods you have worked with to remove blocks or obstacles. Otherwise those blocks will just reenter your body."
Today's spell:
To banish negativity, take a nice hot bath with an egg. (I'm serious!) Soaking in the tub and letting the egg float around in there will allow the egg to absorb all the negative energy coming out. But please, no reenacting Humpty Dumpty...Broken eggs don't absorb as well...

To Get Someone to Stop Calling You
Another spell brought to you by The Supermarket Sorceress by Lexa Roséan!
You will need:
A stick of butter or margarine
peppercorns
Carve your phone number into the stick of butter and on the flip side carve the name of the person or company you want to stop calling you. Place on a dish and surround with peppercorns. Place the dish near your phone. As the butter melts and loses shape, the thoughts of phoning you should melt from their minds...

"Butter or margarine can be used to soften or tone down a situation that has become unbearable. Pepper is used to put pressure on or control a person or situation. The combination of the two is used to stop obsessive behavior, cure anger, or to influence someone to forget about you and gently turn their energies elsewhere."

A Spell for Squat ~ the Goddess of Parking Spots
You will need:
A chocolate bar
When driving along and looking for a parking spot, invoke Squat with the words, "Squat, Squat, find me a legal spot."
When you find one, leave a chocolate bar between the front tire of your car and the curb.

A Spell for Pets
***This spell is to help current pets become accustomed to new ones...
You will need:
A jelly jar
sugar
water
fur clippings from the animals in question
Place the fur clippings in the jelly jar and add a few heaping teaspoons of sugar and water and shake in front of the pets while saying "love" or "be sweet". Repeat several times daily.

Spell to Win at Court
You will need:
dill
coriander
bell pepper
spring water
Cut the bell pepper in half and remove the seeds. Place five coriander seeds, four pinches of dill, and a piece of paper with names of all the people involved in the case (including your own) in the pepper. Add an eighth of a cup of spring water to the mix and place in your freezer twelve days before your court date. Keep in the freezer until a verdict has been reached. Every day, open the freezer and visualize yourself winning the case.

yeah no doubt! My baby broke my glasses so i have obnly one lense...but the day i screwed that up i couldnt find them and had the puter pumped up...well thats not much help lol

House Blessing Ritual
Another Spell / Ritual brought to you from The Supermarket Sorceress by Lexa Roséan...
You will need:
1 new broom
floral or spice carpet deodorizer
room freshener
white taper candle
spring water
Begin by sweeping the entire house counterclockwise to rid the space of negative energy. Sprinkle the deodorizer (to represent earth) in every room and let it sit for 40 minutes while visualizing the scent bringing with it love, health, and wealth. Spray the room freshener (to represent air) clockwise around the house. Light the candle (to represent fire) and carry it around the house clockwise, lighting up all the nooks and crannies along the way. Fill a bowl with the spring water (guess what this one represents??) and sprinkle it in each of the four corners of the house. Vacuum the carpet and sweep the house with your new broom again (clockwise) to close the ritual and keep in all the good stuff you infused into your home.
