Glory Article #2 by Blackbelly
Well, this one wasn't the usual edge-of-your-seat suspense 'fest, it was more of the finely-honed-machine-of-doom 'fest.
#1 Gather in Nexus (cause PoK is still buggy from the "great" DX9 patch - *Sort shakes his fist at SoE*) and are happily joined by some friends in EvD.
#2 Port over to UP where we pull all 4 Dark Masters then Doomshade with only 1 death. Nral and Aiyen did an absolutely fabulous job of pulling them. A little bit faster than expected, Doomshade spawned and was pulled while I think Beni was still in ME rezzing someone who died trying to get to the raid "before we started" . Doomshade comes in, Doomshade causes a big ruckus, Doomshade gets beat down - we made off with:
Tigran = Cursed Halo of Thought
Aiyen = Bracelet of Fortitude
Geffin made off with a copy of Koadic's Endless Intellect (for his Brother)
Whiskerrs made off with a copy of Khura's Focusing.
When we got to Doomshade an xp group was grinding at the entrance and they were kind enough to accomodate us, so in return their BL got to loot: Knotted Knuckles Edge of Honor rotted.
A copy of the Spell: Khura's Focusing went into the guild bank also.
#3 Hussle on over to Katta Castellum where Nathyn had finally returned from his vacation only to have us kick down his door, slaughter all his guards then make mince-meat out of him. Grats Omenmoon on your Robe of Dark Beguilement.
#4 Boogied over to Lcea's castle where we beat down the elite castle guards and then pulled the Queen of the city... much whackiness later = 1 dead Lcea Katta. Before porting out we stripped from her body:
#5 Oddly enough, we just weren't satisfied yet (Dunno why, we just beat down 2 very tough mobs and 1 chump - you decide whom is whom ) So we conga-lined over to Akheva ruins where we heard that the Itraer Vius had said some nasty things about Tigran's mom (which were untrue of course). Weeeeeeeeeeell, let me tell you something, she wasn't prepared for the amount of smack-down EvD and AiF can hand out when they really set their minds to doing something. We added a few more hearty companions and proceeded to kick the snot out of this gigantic, black-robed h0. Kicks and punches flew, swords and hammers whizzed, spells crackled and went B00M - but when the dust had settled the only corpse around was that of the Itraer Vius. Wrenching from her cold, dead fingers we took the following spoils:
#6 Fat with loot and brimming with good feelings, the raid finally broke up and everyone went their own way. We're not "Uber" yet, but you can bet both your butt cheeks we're heading in the right direction...

4 dead Dark Masters
1 dead Doomshade
1 dead Nathyn Illuminious
1 dead Lcea Katta
1 dead Itraer Vius
countless minor mobs that got in our way
~ Compared too ~
1 dead raider (the lead puller on the first pull of the first mob that we fought for the day). That's it. We only lost 1 person the whole time while we were raiding.
Total time = 4 and 1/2 hours. That's some serious hoofing it around Luclin folks!
