To the President and Citizens of the Republic of Talamthom,
I would like to take this opportunity to present myself as the new Minister of State for Foreign Affairs in the Kingdom of Gotzborg. I am looking forward to working with your government to develop the friendship existing between our nations.

Now I hope you don't mind if I switch to some business. I understand from President Grieve's recent visit to Gotzborg that Talamthon has a new Foreign Minister, but he did not mention said Minister's name. Would that be Prime Minister Prendergast?
President Grieve also mentioned that Talamthon has suffered a similar fate as Gotzborg in the recent ezBoard disaster and has lost a copy of the Gotzborg-Talamthon Treaty. Gotzborg has record of a Treaty of Recogntion and Friendship signed on July 30, 2004 with Talamthon, but a copy of the treaty has not been located. Since you don't appear to have a copy as well, I am suggesting reestablishing the treaty, with special recognition to the original signing. Perhaps it can be finalized in time for the 1-year anniversary of the original signing. Would you like to recommend a draft?
As well, although it may seem obvious, I was wondering if you could also post a quick update at the Gotzborg Foreign Office regarding the affect of the ezBoard diaster on Talamthon. I would like to collect this information for a report to the King as Gotzborg, as well as possibly an article for our Gotzborg Eagle.

Firstly, let me welcome you to the Republic. I'm afraid I was speaking preemptively earlier -- our Prime Minister (Mr Prendergast, as it happens) has yet to unveil his new cabinet, so we do not currently have a Foreign Minister.
To compound this, I'm afraid I shall be flying to Canada (macronationally, that is) tomorrow, and my own activity is going to suffer as I hop from internet cafe to internet cafe. I do approve of your suggestions however, though as I said I'm reluctant to step further on the toes of the (future) Foreign Minister.
If memory serves, the Talamthom-Gotzborg treaty followed closely the 'Example Talamthom Treaty', as does the treaty we recently entered into with the Grand Commonwealth. Our former president Mr Kelly is supposed to be emailing me a copy of the TT-GC treaty, so I should be able to extrapolate some sort of draft before too long.
Please accept my sincerest appologies for my nation's general lack of organisation at the present time,
