Greetings everyone and well met! Allow me to introduce myself. I am a brand new citizen of Paragon City that is intrigued by the superheros here at project rebirth. I have only been a member of the city for a couple days, but look towards meeting some new friends and allies. My current name is Blue Fusion, but I have been known by others as well.. Maybe I will get the honor of your presence sometime in the near future.
(OOC - hello everyone. I'm brand new to COH, and have been looking and doing some research on some different supergroups to play with. I'm 27 years old and have been playing online games for quite sometime. Everquest was my last MMORPG experience, and COH seems to be the latest. I'm currently trying to find an identity that I really like in COH, thus I didn't put much info about who my superhero REALLY is quite yet
Blue Fusion is my latest, and he just reached security level 5 last night. He's a fire based blaster, but I'm not 100% sure he's what I'm sticking with yet. There are just SO many combinations out there!
So what are the policies on characters? And/or levels?
I'm sure I'll decide soon....I just want to make sure I'm happy with my character and background before I really get into it! Character creation is SO much fun!
I usually play between the hours of 9-midnight EST. I am married and have a baby on the way later this year, so not sure what THAT will do to my playtime once December rolls around.
So if I am so lucky as to get to play with you all and join your company it would be greatly appreciated. Just let me know if you require anything else of me (or any other info).

You needn't worry about level restrictions, et cetera. What we ask of our applicants is that they be good people and that they be at least casual roleplayers. The sidekicking system in City of Heroes allows people of wildly disparate levels to play together. My goal with this team is to make it a nexus of good players, so that if they want to pop in for 20 minutes and play, they'll be able to hook up with another like-minded player easily.
It may take a little while for us to get around to your application. We had closed recruitment until May, since the game just launched and we needed to settle back into our characters and get the Project properly put-back-together. I never expected the number of applications we'd recieve. I'm going to try to meet up with a couple of our applicants tonight to get the proverbial ball rolling. However, in absence of us contacting you, feel free to contact us in-game. Good people to contact include Black Atom, Blueshift, the Ruby Pebble, myself, the Blue Migraine, Slayde and Vendetta.

I think I've finally decided on what archtype to play. I'm going to create this evening after work and begin play. I'm going to go with a Defender (with a bit of a spin). I've got a great character idea in mind and I'm hoping the name is available still.
I"ll try to look you all up online. I'm SO very new to this game, so I don't know much about anything. I'm assuming if I add you to my friends list it will tell me if you are online or not? I haven't found a good way to "search" for someone in game quite yet.
I'll try to look some of you up tonight to meet you. I'm going to try to get lvl 4 or 5 as well with the new char. I'll post name here once I find out if it's available or not.
Yep, putting us on your Friends list will tell you whether we're online or not.
We've been around since beta - in fact, my understanding is that the Project is one of the game's oldest supergroups. So don't be bashful about not being hyper-proficient with the UI yet. We've had a couple of months' head start.
By the way, where were you in EverQuest? I was on Firiona Vie, in the Clan of Brothers guild.

Great, thanks for the tip about the friends list. I'll make sure to try that first thing tonight.
As well you might have to bear with me on the roleplaying aspect of things. I've always wanted to give it a shot, but back in EQ I didn't want to relocate servers, and it's tough to really RP unless you have lots of RPers around you.
So this is my first attempt at RP'ing. Just FYI. Any tips are most welcomed!
In Everquest I was on the Tunare Server. I was an officer of Valiant Spirit, which was a member of the Tunare Guild Alliance (where I was a representative as well). The "TGA for short" was a coallition (network) of smaller guilds that got together to try and experience some of the end game content (without all the uber-guild mess). It sort of worked and sort of didn't. We never got to see any of the really end-game stuff, but was a ton of fun trying.
I played several characters throughout my EQ career. My mains though were: 65 Beastlord, 51 Shaman, 51 Monk.
Here I bought City of Heros to try and tide me over until World of Warcraft, but it's hooked me so much it might end up being my main MMORPG! Tons of fun so far and I haven't even gotten past level 5!

Hello everyone. Just wanted to thank those of you that took time last night to talk with me and/or help me with some missions. You seem like a great bunch of folks!
((Thundergirl, I just wanted to make sure that you kept Blue Fusion on your friends list as well as The Gentle Giant. As I level them up, I'll better know which one I want to designate as my main. As of now they are both level 5....but I'm not sure which one I enjoy more. Blue Fusion, whom is a blaster, is quite fun. As well, if I get into the guild, I might take a note as to what classes we may be lacking and create one of those. ))
Anyway, I look forward to seeing you all sometime soon!
