Group member roles
For roleplaying purposes it would be nice to know the strengths of each of the members of the group.

I know Black Atom is a scientist, bit of a tech head.

Lollapalooza: leader, laid back, sort of the big sister type (I notice alot of SG members go to her for advice and stuff)

Blue Migraine: what does this guy do again besides complain? (J/K) ;)

Easy: another tech head.

Thundergirl: lot's of spunk.

Killer Whale: He is Killer Whale. 'Nuff said.

However for stories and other roleplaying events it would be great if everyone sort of chimed in about how they see their characters, and the like. I find myself writing more stories these days. With these stories I like to add some Project members in them. So not so much an origin but I'm looking for skills.

Also you can add what you think of other Project members.

I'll start.

Solaron: He works for Crey Industries in their R&D department, he doesn't invent anything and he is not a scientist or a doctor (in Beta he was a super smart scientist, that is boring), in fact he is not so much stupid as self absorbed and lazy. While he doesn't invent anything, he can APPROPRIATE almost anything from Crey. So if someone needs some materials he would be the guy to go to.

Re: Group member roles
Easy's not really a tech head, although he seems to be sometimes. He's an army tank commander, and tanks tend to be pretty far from a repair facility when it all goes south. Tankers are pretty self reliant when it comes to getting the gear running again, because they know a still tank is a sitting target. In Code Fenris he has another advantage- an advanced AI with a virtual connection to online resources.

Easy's strenth is two fold. One, he is aware of the "overall" picture, thinking outside the tank. He displayed this quality in leading a tank company, and has been further enhanced by training. This makes him a perfect fit for his suit's power, a controller archetype.

His other strength is the fact he's empathic by nature; he is very connected to the men that serve with him. He understands them, shares with them, knows how to bolster them when they're down. This isn't contrived, it's part of who Easy is- and that earned him his nickname. The ability is one of the keys to leadership, and again enhanced by his training at the Army Non Commisioned Officer Academy.

My last post in the Code Fenris stories was aimed at showing this facet of Easy.

Easy, driving Code Fenris

Quickshot: An inventor and gadgeteer, as well as Quantum Physicist. Her "all business" demeanor was broken by Doc Cosmic, who managed to win her heart. Still, don't expect a super-gushy super. The first thing out of her mouth after defeat is usually her plans to upgrade her equipment. Her role in a combat? Pure firepower. The New Champions used to tease her by saying they were going to nickname her "Oneshot." But generally, she can take down a bad guy in less than 4 shots. (By the way, if you want me to shoot less in a combat, simply ask me to shoot less.)

Aliuneidis: He harnesses the power of love, the most powerful thing in the universe. He's mellow, he's handsome, and very smooth with the ladies. He's secure in his masculinity enough to wear pink and a heart. While he doesn't pack the power of other supers, he turns enemies into allies, makes them reconsider their ways, and his love heals his friends.

Swiftwind: (Not technically P:R, but you can call for her). She will seem quite odd, at first. A sentient AI with knowledge of right and wrong, given a bio-organic/bionic female body, and then programmed to be fully functional. She will occassionally slip into the German accent of the ones who added to her programming (5th Column) or might slip into modern slang. Her social graces are not quite up there, yet. In combat, she runs in and punches the bad guys. She can take damage, but unlike other tankers, she doesn't hold aggro well.

Symmetry: Laid-back, cheerful, smartalecky, and extremely tactless. Sym absolutely loves her powers and being a superhero. In fact, it's her "job," despite her occasional comments about wanting to take up an actual profession. She's also rather vain. She's smarter than initial appearances might indicate, but this tends to be more practical intelligence and liberal-arts knowledge than scientific genius; in fact, advanced technology still confuses her.

Her role is pretty straightforward. In her own words, "I burn things for justice." She's very good at quickly incapacitating crowds of villains -- at least as long as someone else is around to prevent them all from piling on top of her, or at least to catch the attention of the biggest, toughest ones. In a group, she'll tend to follow the lead of the hand-to-hand combatants, opening up with her firepower after they've caught the enemy's attention. In a group with no such members, she'll try to hit hard, fast, and simultaneously with other members, to minimize the risk for her side.

Re: Group member roles
Fast Forward (aka, Jamie Kenton) is a scientist from another dimension. In fact, his field of study was Dimensional Physics....not exactly a booming profession in his dimension (no Portal Corps there), but he was striving to make breakthroughs in it. Turns out he did, on accident, and got sucked through the dimensional vortex he opened....ending up here, finding himself in a world where everyone seems to move in slow motion (time flows much faster in his home dimension and his own body has retained that "temporal continuity"). This has the odd effect of making him a Speedster who actually doesn't so much perceive *himself* as moving fast as he does everyone else moving slowly. In fact, he has to constantly concentrate in order to move and talk at what seem like normal speeds to everyone else.

Other interesting tidbits are that Paragon City is actually named Virtue City where he's from and, there, the Rikti never invaded earth. So Virtue City was still a whole and healthy city when he left.

Personality-wise, Jamie is actually fairly shy and unsure of himself (hey, he was the classic nerdy scientist...what do you want? ;P). However, since deciding to do something positive with the "powers" he has received, he's gained quite a bit of confidence in his Fast Forward persona. The mask gives him something to hide behind and makes him bolder (which, if you've RP'd with him some, should make you realize just how shy he really is :) ). He always takes it very hard when anyone is seriously hurt or, especially, killed before he can get there to save them.

Finally, his greatest desire is to find a way back home....or so he believes. Is it possible he may be becoming tied to this place, through various means? Also, one wonders what other effects his temporal difference from the local timestream might have on him.

And then there's Sunstar, who I STILL haven't managed to get to ICly meet any of you guys, except for Sakura (who's deleted now?). She's a mutant college student thurst into the role of superhero as she tries to find her missing brother, Sunstroke. What Suzanne Taggart doesn't know is that she's not actually in the same reality she grew up in and that this Project: Rebirth has never met nor heard of the hero Sunstroke.

She's fairly perky and optimistic and tries to damp down any thoughts of what might have happened to her brother, the longer she goes without hearing any word of him.
So far as skills....well, she's a college student, so she has no real practical knowledge yet. ;)

Oh, and I'm still considering her to have NOT officially joined the Project until I get to RP her introduction and joining with you guys. Preferably with some of the characters who were part of P:R in Beta and knew Sunstroke to some extent.

Not deleted, just inactive. I dropped her from the Project rolls. Still, I don't foresee playing her in the near future...

Migraine's strength is his irrefutable charm, good looks, and razor wit...oh, that's not what you meant? Hmm...

Well, for lack of a better choice he's the Project's ranking medical officer. No, not a doctor per se, more of a psychological doctor. Sure he can heal, but his strength is his empathy. The ability to feel another's emotions is pretty useful.

He doesn't work, instead he lives off of the trust fund established some eighty years ago (which ballooned with interest while he was in stasis).

Flaws? Hmm, arrogance, narcissism, and overconfidence are probably the most obvious. He's a bit of a ladykiller as well, hence why most of the time he tends to be grouped with several women (which happens to be incidental, but it plays into his character perfectly).

On the moral spectrum, he's a little more gray than white. Which is why I think he and Atom get along so well. Migraine often jokes that if he would've been a villain had his powers not been so beneficient in nature. Not quite a dark, or anti, hero, but he isn't a paragon of virtue either.

"This is a robbery! Give me all your money or...or...I'll cure your cold!"

Footpad has spent nearly a decade travelling the world stealing from the rich and giving to himself. He has connections to fences, con men, and thugs in Europe and Asia. He knows a little about the value of things like gems and antiquities, and can spot the occasional fake. He dabbles in science enough to build and repair his own gadgets but doesn't keep up to date with the latest advances.

Bogatyr has been hunting monsters longer than many of Paragon's heroes have been alive. He is a skilled tracker and does not frighten easily. He has accumulated a store of occult knowledge over the years, but as he ages he sometimes finds it difficult to separate the old wives' tales from the facts. He is as strong as an ox, but doesn't have the stamina he used to possess.

Michael Logan aka the Cobalt Sentinel is about as blue collar(no pun intended) as one can get while living in Galaxy City. He's a beer drinking, football watching, government bashing type of guy. He's also got the mouth of a sailor, especially when the adrenaline's pumping during battle.
Those strengths(or faults, depending on your perspective) aside, he's a man of strong character and morals. He believes strongly in justice and right and wrong, the two sometimes conflicting. He's loyal to his teammates on the Project, and fiercly protective of them, especially of the females among us. In some ways, he's a hedonist, always having an eye out for the ladies. But if he's in a relationship, he's 100% loyal.
That's about all I can think of.

Killer Whael is well...a Whale. The goo the mutated him created a Whaleman. He is not truly dumb he just thinks on a more simple animal level, this makes him naive and trusting. Along with the strong trust there is also an awful anger. When angered the primal instincts take over and woe unto those that feel the ire of the Whale.

Overall he is a friendly, caring, childlike brute with enough strength to crush boulders in him bare hands.
