HELP! Me and my girlfriend are looking to buying/living on a canal in London, am new too the whole idea,but very interested and the more i look into it the better it seems, i do have a few concerns tho. What is the security like living on a boat? Do you get problems with Rats? Is living on the canal a viable option for a beginner or is it more for the sea dogs amoungst us? Is it possible to get a mortgage on a hb/nb? cheers Paul
