Harvey Stone, Humanities Faculty Hello Governor's School students! My name is Harvey Stone and I teach in Henrico County(just out side of Richmond). I teach history, government, and humanities. I work with our school's marching band and drama programs. I also write one act plays for high school students.
What makes me happy: trashy pop music, live theater, Starbucks, independent films, movie previews, the beach, and New York City
What I could do without: junk mail, whining, bad pizza, and exspensive gasoline
I am excited about both my morning and afternoon classes, but I am most excited about meeting all of you!

Shep (and everyone else), one thing you notice quickly is that we do not refer to anyone as mr., mrs., dr., etc....everyone, faculty, RAs, students, support staff, everyone is on a first name basis.
Re: Harvey Stone, Humanities Faculty
That's gonna be hard for me because my parents flush me down the toilet if I don't address an adult respectfully. HaHa.
But I like that.
Hey Mr. Stone!
Hey Mr. Stone, it's Katie from Level III (or is it IV now?) at Hermitage!! Unfortunately I'm not in your class, but I can't wait until July! I know we're supposed to call teachers by their first name, but I don't think that's going to work. See you in a couple of weeks!
