Help with RPG with African-American characters
I am looking for people to help me with an all-black RPG!
I am disappointed by the lack of diversity in video games, especially RPGs--my favorite genre. It is unencouraging to see no representation when I myself am an African-American RPGer. So I have decided to make my own game with an all black cast. The game is called BloodSong, and it traces a Drake Mitchell's thirst for justice and equality in a world ruled by racial prejudice and barriers. The game will be set in the 1930s. I am really striving for something different from the standard RPG Maker 2000 games that are all out there. My only probably is that there are virtually no black character sets. I only have one--it's a standard one of dark-coloured townspeople (bchar.png). Does anyone know of any other character sets (and face sets) of African-Americans or of any one of dark complexion? Or would antone be willing to help me and actually create such character/face sets? Any contribution would be greatly appreciated, and I would be more than willing to make BloodSong a collaboration of many efforts? I can be reached at jazzfreak00@hotmail.com
