Hi from Minnesota
Hi, my name's Eric. I'm a Right Below-Elbow amputee. I lost my arm last year due to injury and disease. I've ridden horses since I was about 12, but don't own any myself. Yet! I currently volunteer for a therapeutic riding program here in Minnesota called WeCanRide,Inc. They are a NAHRA certified organization, and I work at the carriage driving site. I found this group from the ARFA site, which I am a member of. I also am the Editor of an internet magazine dedicated to upper extremity amputees, called UpperEx (www.UpperEx.com). I think it's GREAT that there is a site like this for amputees!!!

Peace,

Eric

Eric,

Welcome! And I'm glad you found us - I beleive you are the first upper extremity amputee that has.

It's great that you work at a NARHA riding center. I bet you are a great inspiration to the kids.

Please lend us you experiences, as we all have things to learn and things to share!
