Homosexual marriages
Since this has become a very popular area of debate and we're getting this site running again, we'll start of with this.
So what are your views on gay marriages? Should it be allowed?

Why not, dear Michelle?
I´m fine with it. Adoption though, I´m not so sure about. What if the child doesn´t want two mothers or two fathers? It has no choice. And it´ll probably be bullied when it starts school. The couple should think more about the child and less about themselves in that situation.

You're going to have to back your argument better than that Michelle.
Homosexuals should be allowed to marry. They're human beings too and deserve every human right.
Adoption: Yes, the child should be asked if he/she wants two mothers or fathers. But yes, they should be allowed to adopt if they fill in the criteria of normal adults ie there's nothing wrong with them that can harm the child.

Only problem is that they´ll have to adopt a child old enough to be able to speak for him/herself.

I think it should be allowed. You should be able to marry the person you love, regardless of race, gender, religion...
As for adoption, I don't think it really matters. I don't see why having two mothers or fathers would be that different from a mother and father. As long as a parent loves the child, gender shouldn't matter.

Am off to Fangorn with young hobbits. Leaving Daisy to deal with Legolas. Love brother dearly but after five and a half centuries of listinging to talk about hair care and clothing, cannot take anymore. Got all shirty when I accused of gaining weight. Said *I* left *my* clothes in his bag. Did not mention that he always steals my tunics in name of "fashion" since begining to think he is pregnant.

The myth that gays make bad parents is ridiculous. The chances of them being good parents is the same as those of a hetrosexual couple making good parents.
