Housekeeping Ammendment
Has there been any progress on the subject of a housekeeping ammendment to standardise our constitution's form.

Re: Housekeeping Ammendment
I did a bit of a brainstorm on the topic yesterday, actually.
I believe Mr Garine offered to make a stab at it, once we'd passed the latest batch of ammendments, but we haven't heard from him on the topic and I'm given to believe he's a busy man these days. Perhaps I should take it on? I'm not actually back at uni until next week, so I have a little spare time going...
The issue I was immediately presented with yesterday is, of course, which convention to champion? While I'm quite a fan of Article 4, 4.1.ii, the roman numerals may be a little out of place. I also believe it was Mr Garine's intention to standardise towards 4.1.2 style pure-decimal numeration.

I'd like to see it so that it looked like:
Quote:Article Three
1. GENERAL. It is now the law that hitting hegehogs is only an act of violence if;
1.1 the hedgehog was already dead
1.2 the hedgehog was acting with murderous intent
2. CONVICTION...
I like the emphasised first words, the article number being written but the numbers for sub-clauses as above. No more letters or numerals. Articles for everyday purposes can then be cited as follows;
Quote:Article 3.1.1. is possible an infringement upon hedgehogs rights and should be addressed immediately.
I feel this is the best way.

Good man. I think that the capitals don't need to put in unnecesary places but would be good where required.
