Houston show review 8/16
Hey ya'll -
I thought I'd kick off the tour discussion with a little show review about the FIRST show.
Taylor played with Shwa and Glen Eliot at the Rhythm Room last night in Houston!
pre show: ate really really awesome food at the Onion Creek.
post show: ate really really awesome food at some mexican restaurant.
anyway....
I've known Shwa for a while but never actually saw him live so last night was a treat. He has this really funny song about this girl and all the bad things that he wishes would happen to her. Lets hope they don't have a feminist convention show scheduled on this tour.

Taylor played next! He played ALL the songs on the new record. If that's not enough to get out on to a show on the tour then I don't know what will. The songs sound GREAT live. Do You Ever, Black & White, and Hemingway Life were my favorites live.
The crowd was small but he did well on selling CDs!
I'll post pictures later. (Sorry that review was lame)
