How does true love feel?
I have often wondered this. Is the feeling of romantic love the same for everyone? and those with soul mates, do they feel the same?
Beating heart wiggly stomach, light headed light hearted?

I have been with my beloved for 5 yrs now, I still have that feeling Tonya discribed everytime I see him, people find it hard to believe that after the first year you can muster those feelings but when it is the right someone, your soul mate the love of your lifetimes it does happen. It is good to know that this exists the faery tale feeling that is.

My husband,Ralph,and I will have been married 14 years on February 9th.We have our ups and downs,like any couple does,but we still get accused of being newlyweds when we go out.We still hold hands,and hug for no apparent reason.We still go out on dates,when we can get away for a few hours.He still jumps to my defence,if he feels someone has wronged me in any way.Sometimes,when he knows I'm in a lot of pain,or he knows I've just had a bad day,he will run me a bath,with candles,and potpourri,simmering in the simmer pot.
We do still love each other,very much.Our hearts may no longer pound when we see each other,but they dont have to,I know I'm in his,and he knows he's in mine.

I hope that when we are married for 14 yrs , the love will still be as strong and feel as wonderful as you described, love comes in many forms doesnt it? and feels so differently to many people.

What an excellent question, and I have to say I felt exactly like that with my ex-wife. Whenever I saw her after even just a small absence I had all those feelings.
Its an interesting thing to read this post and learn what it feels like to (at least) some of you ladies. Funny isnt it, that no matter how different the two sexes are percieved to be, some things remain constant.
