 I am SOOOOOO pissed |

Ok, most of y'all know that my daughter Raichelle has Oppositional Defiant Disorder.Well, she's had some of the best mentors she could possibly get, through her therapy program.The one she has now has always been really good with her, even if racihelles behavior has gotten WAY worse. All right, today, we all had a talk about how Miss Raichelle has been doing.I vented plenty,and let Raichelle know that she's about to lose her services, because she's done nothing to improve,only gotten worse over time(which is typical with ODD,in many cases).Well, out of the blue, the mentor asks Ralph to please step outside with her.They go out for about 10 minutes, then come back in and approach me.Ralph says" Rhonda would like to know how we would feel about her taking Raichelle to church?" He didn't have to say another word.I looked at both of them,and said " You HAVE to be kidding, this kid has enough trouble accepting responsibility for her own actions, without being told that she don't HAVE to,and thats exactly what the lesson is in church," If you have a problem, blame some non-existant guy named Satan.The last thing we,or she, needs is for some group to give her the idea that she never has to take responsibility for her own actions.NO, that isn't even an option." Ok, I'm expecting Ralph to say" Ok, I figured as much, just wanted to see what you would say".But NOOOOOOO, he looks at me and says" Well, I don't mind, I think it would be good for her to go"  After this many years, and me thinking that he and I were on the same page with this one,and he throws THIS at me?Thank goodness Rhonda said" well, if both of you aren't in agreement on it, then it isn't gonna happen." I told her" No, it certainly isn't." Can I freakin SCREAM, now?Number one, how dare she even SUGGEST church? She knows I'm Pagan,and she knows how I feel about organized religion.On top of that, she's a mentor, it isnt her place to bring religious issues up.But I think I'm more upset about Ralph.He knows every detail about my feelings on so-called christianity.What would even possess him to think I would approve of having my kid brainwashed?
