I don't watch wrestling anymore. This was a gradual thing. I don't know if it's because grad school has forced me to pick one free-time activity (videogames) instead of three or four, or just that it's not interesting to me anymore. I started not caring if I missed a show (RAW or Smackdown) one week about a year and a half ago. Then I missed both shows some weeks. Now I just watch it for about 15-20 minutes if I have nothing better to do. HHH started boring me, then Austin started getting sporadic until he was gone. I don't know what's up with the McMahons, but I never see much of them anymore. (Although that could be bad timing.) The last thing I halfheartedly follwed was Shelton Benjamin's little run against HHH. Do any of you guys still watch wrestling? Are you still into it? |

Sorry about the belated response; I sometimes forget to check here for new messages every now and then. I still watch Monday Night Raw most weeks, but I've pretty much given up on Smackdown. None of it really interests me as much anymore. McMahon just seems to have lost his creative genius, and a lot of his recent stuff is just downright offensive (Eugene being metally retarded, playing up all the Latino stereotypes with Eddie Guerrero, the thinly veiled racial remarks that Randy Orton made to Shelton Benjamin a few weeks ago, etc.). I hear that NWA: TNA has a new show on cable. I may check it out, but my interest in wresling has been flagging lately.

Re: I don't watch wrestling anymore. I do need to add though that it was very satisfying to finally see two deserving guys have good title runs. Eddie Guerrero and particularly Chris Benoit have long deserved title runs.
