personality: Kyler is distant in her own little world. She's a fierce fighter, a firece mother, and a fierce lover. She is a law unto herself.
brief history: Kyler was part of a pack far to the south, a pack of red wolves. They were a fierce, warlike tribe who brooked no opposition. Kyler fit in very well. When she turned two, another pack turned around and decimated the red wolves, taking only the women of breeding age. Everyhting else was killed. Most found themselves in the hands of cruel, relentless masters. Kyler was lucky enough to fall the the ownership of the alpha's son, Brutus. Soon, the two were in love, though kyler still chafed at being his slave, rather than his mate. At the birth of their first litter, a litter of three, he officailly declared her his mate, and equal to any other in the pack. Then one day, he was killed by a jealous upstart who wanted his woman. When she refused to submit for grief of her fallen mate, the upstart slew two of her pups, but flew into a rage when he couldn't discover the locale of the third. Kyler managed to take the third pup, a small reddish female named Makea and flee.

Kyler was weary. She and Makea had travelled for weeks, never stopping for fear Dirk, the male that had killed her beloved Brutus, was behind her. She glanced behind her at her two month old pup. "come on, Makea Greatoak. We're almost there." Though where there was, she had no clue.
Her daughter's golden green eyes watched everything curiously as she pranced along at her mother's side. Suddenly, Kyler stopped as if she'd hit a solid rock. Her green eyes widened fractionally as she stared into the lands that laid ahead. Water, prey...everything the two could ever need.
And other wolves. Though Makea was weary of being ruled, she knew she needed to do what was best for her child and have a pack to help rear her. After all, it took a good pack to raise a good pup. The mother stood still, her mind racing. She couldn't help but to smile as her daughter ran right to the river, splashing about excitedly.
That decided it for her; she was done running. This was what she and her child would call home. She lifted her head and let out a soft, mellow call, a call that hid the hell fire she really was. Her assorted scars, however did nothing to hide her true nature, although being a mother had done much to ease her irascable temper.
The rusted male was sick of hearing the child harp day in and day out about her stupid mother…was he going to have to kill her and bring her dead body back to the falls, to show his new daughter that in fact her mother was dead? Maybe he would rape the white bitch first, make her pay for playing with his heart. Make her learn her rule in this new world where he got what he wanted, and when he wanted it, he wouldn’t stop till the white bitch would scream and submit to her. The male yawned, and his ears lifted up and heard the howl, he looked around for the two colored female that he had accepted to the pack, she was in the lands just to help his man hood
With a sigh he shook his head, that whore was going to have to leave if she wasn’t going to do her job. The male took his dear sweet time getting to the borders, his twisted paw didn’t help any. He would just pawn his slowness off onto it.
” So Miss, tell me why I should call my master? She don’t like pups…unless she can eat them.”
Load of crap, ever last bit, but it would work to see her temperment

Her ears flattened against her skull and she stepped in front of the young pup, who cringed away from the male, having watched her siblings die at the paws of a male who looked remarkably like the one in front of them. "I'm not here to make trouble, I'm here to find a home." She straightened, not enough to imply she had more authority than the gimp, but enough to show that she wouldn't back down.
"I am Kyler Greatoak, and this is my daughter Makea. And we seek refuge, someplace for my daughter to grow up in safety. I can hunt...and I can fight...or whatever your mistress would command. Or I can find another pack more welcoming of my pup."
This she delivered in a quiet voice, absent of animousity, but strong and certain of herself nonetheless. Even if this had of been the alpha, she wouldn't have cringed. She never showed weakness, never admitted when she was less than at her fullest strength. She growled softly as her daughter tried to sniff at the male; Makea took the hint and leaned against her mother's legs, watching the male curiously, her fear forgotten. The pup was adopting the same fearless attitude as her mother.
And why shouldn't Kyler be fearless? She'd faced death, she'd faced the abyss. She didn't fear either, for she knew what they held for her.

Azizi gave a twist laugher, as he lowered him-self to the ground, looking at the pup, she looked around Angel’s age…Giving the pup a soft nudge, he sat up. Looking the other female in the face, rising up to his full height, tail up, and ears up. He was the leader of the pack lands, that lived with in the falls, that was his lands, his little spot where not a soul would hurt him. With a nod, ”There is one rule in the pack, and that is never, ever to let the leader’s daughter out of sight and not to let her around any, any other wolves that are not in the rankings of the falls, Can your narrow mind understand that?”

Makea wasn't sure how to handle this male coming at her like that, so she stood her ground, not flinching as the male nudged her. Kyler watched this quiet exchange, her eyes impassive, not showing any emotion. I'm sure it wouldn't be that difficult for me to wrap my tiny little brain around it, she said dryly, a flicker of irritation beginning to glimmer in her eyes at the condescending way the male was treating the fey. She sat carefully, watching her pup to be sure the feyling wouldn't run under her paws and get squashed at the last moment. Het tail twitched momentarily, much like a cat who's been rather annoyed, then the traces of irritation were gone. When do i get to meet this mistress of yours?
