I just keep coming back here.....
so today I came home to find a counter-suit from my ex who is going to try to take all 3 of my kids away from me. Needless to say, all the prayers I can get would be wonderful.
My dad has like... 4 daughters and 9 or so sons-in-law. Guess who has turned out to be the most destructive, evil one of all. Yes - You guessed it. The son-in-law *I* contributed. The "pastor", manager of a christian radio station, youth director extrordinaire. I wonder why it is the "men of god" who think it's fine to drag their children thru the mud of the court system simply for picking their mom instead of them?
It's a twisted world we live in. Come quickly Lord Jesus.

I'd LOVE to talk to ya sometime.... sorry it took me so long to get back to this post.
I haven't heard anything about my court case. The judge has yet to send down a temporary ruling, even tho we first went to court in October. Everything's still in limbo. My son David got in some trouble right before our first court date. I wonder if the judge is waiting to see if he gets into any more trouble. Kinda twisted if you ask me. But then, this whole thing is twisted. My kids WANT to be with me. They'll all tell a judge that. But still I have to say goodbye to my 12 year old over and over again. Every other Sunday night. Every Wednesday morning.
And my crime is that I work long hours and live in an unacceptable neighborhood. How stupid is that?? If I was getting child suport for the children who live here I wouldn't NEED to work 50 and 60 hour weeks. And maybe we could move OUT of this neighborhood. (which really isn't THAT bad.) If I have my children taken from me for those issues, then a whole lot of single moms behind me are in deep doodoo. Cuz we ALL have to work long hours and live in bad nieghborhoods. Cuz of dead beat dads all over America.
Anyway, didn't mean to vent here (again, lol)
I'll be sure to update when something happens.

Venting is healthy...and this is a safe place in which to do it. You are loved here. I don't have much time to post, but I DO check for new messages as often as I can and I pray for you often.
I'm leaving for Moss Point, MS in the morning--several of us are going down for a week to work on rebuilding some houses damaged by Katrina. MAYBE after I get home, things will slow down...a little!
