heres the one I use most of the time

ya need salt... water.. and insense.. sage by perferance
and rosemary or rue.. preferably both
a green sprig of rue or rosemary

you put water in a dish,.,. white if you have one
same with the salt.. again white if you have one
I use a couple candy dishes.. most of the time

bless the salt

raise up the bowl.. to the gods
" ceature of earth.. adore thy creator.. blessed art thou
and all that you touch "

same for the water.....

then add some of the salt to the water....I use the motion of the celtic cross myself. but which ever calls to you

get the insence going and walking deosil. as a clock moves.. start at a door or window.. and outline the entire house.. chanting as you go..

my fave is an easy one

blessed be this smoke to be
evil stay away from me

be firm about it..with passion and intent but no anger

blow the smoke into every cranny of the place
now again same thing with salt this time espcially around the doors and windows...
and again with the water you have blessed useing the spring of plant as an asperigilum to sprinkle the water about

now take the herbs....and both inside and out ( do the outer at night if you dont want to scare more timid neighbors..) same chant.. same intent..
if any other people are present.. bless them too

your intent is everthing...

I finish this off with drawing protective runes in essential oils on the windows and door ways....

pretty detailed I know and it takes a while.. but its never failed me yet...
