ING Direct Orange Savings Account 3.30% Interest!
Hi there all. I just wanted to post this here for more coverage.
If anyone is interested in starting an ING Direct Orange Savings Account. This is how it works.....you PM/Email your first and last name and your email address and I will send you an invitation. You use the link in the invite to create your account and the only amount you have to deposit is 1.00. Once your account is verified, you will get a 25.00 sign on bonus and I will get a 10.00 referral bonus. Once you have your accoutn set up, you can refer up to 25 people and they will get 25.00 and you will get 10.00 for each invite that is set up.
Once you have set up your account you can eithe rleave it alone with the 26.00 in there and just let it sit and earn that 3.30% (or more if it goes up!) or you can deposit money into it from your checking account. You do not need an online bank, all it requires is the routing and account number from your checkbook. There are no fees.
The cons: The interest is taxable. Since this account is a seperate location, it does take a few days for the money to transfer from your checking account to your ING account. But it is a good way to save money and have it a little hard to get to but still there.
When I first started my account back in Nov., the interest was at 2.15% and it has only gone up.
If anyone is interested or has any questions, please feel free to ask me!
