Inferna-Lass' "Hello Doggie" Diary
Dear Diary-
Today was a super-crummy day!
Infernalman and I tried to bust up a ring of cops who'd holed up in a warehouse in Queen's Row. They'd been prowling the streets at night arresting upstanding criminals. Those stinkers!
When we got there, though, we found out they were being led by a bona-fide super-hero who could control gravity and dimensions! It was really cool to fight him, but super-scary. I thought he was going to arrest us! Fortunately, we crushed him beneath the overpowering boot of evil. Go us!
Unfortunately, before he collapsed, he hit me with some kinda ray-beam. "Delta Rays," he called them. They made me feel tingly in a really bad way, but they didn't seem to do much.
When I was at home later, though, something terrible happened - the room faded around me, and suddenly, I was in a bedroom a lot like mine, but different! All my "Hello Doggie" stuff had be turned into - get this - "Hello Kitty." And the colors were all different!
I went downstairs and my parents looked wierd. They didn't obey any of my commands! It was awful.
Eventually, I figured out I was in a whole different universe! It seems that do-gooders and cops and in charge here... this world is like a wacky mirror of home! Instead of Infernalman, there's this "Thunderman" in his place. I look just like the alternate universe me, who's apparently "Thundergirl." She's actually got pretty good taste in clothes, and they all fit me!
I spent the whole day trying to pretend to be Thundergirl. It's really hard! Infernalman's mirror counterpart would know I was a fake, so I tried to find my friends in Project Revenge. This "Mirror World's" version of Agent Orange really grilled me, but I managed to convince him that I'd just been hit over the head.
I was worried I'd have to come up with a really good lie to explain my emberrific powers, but later, the world shifted and I was back home!
I'm so relieved that that's all over with! Good thing the Delta Ray's power was only temporary, and not, y'know, something that'll recur periodically or any*
