Name: Aimee
Age: 22
Birthdate: December 19
Husband: Adam, 25
Anniversary: June 2, 2001
TTC?: We're not "trying not to" anymore...
Occupation: Full-time student, and a part-time workstudy office job
Degree?: I'm an English major, and I'll be graduating with a B.A. on May 10!
This is great to have a group of college students! DH and I are both graduating next month... he was offered a great full-time job two years ago, so he went to part-time with his classes. So its going to be a huge transition for us to be done with school (for now at least). We also just purchased a home in October. So we're feeling a lot more ready for a family. We're very excited about ttc, but it just wasn't the right time yet.
So, now we're trying to sort through the issues I've been having with annovulatory cycles. For the past 4 yearsI've only been getting AF every 6 months or so. I went on bcp just before we got married, and off about a year later to see if that would correct the problem. It didn't and after one "regular" cycle, I went back to the 6 month pattern. Realizing that without medication, we only have two chances a year to conceive, we decided its time to start "trying," or at least stop using protection. We're not ready to start charting or using Clomid (which will be our next step according to the dr.), but we are going to just let nature take her course for awhile and see what happens. Its very frustrating - because my cycles are so long, there's no good way to tell when I should test, etc.
Well, I think we're probably in for a long adventure here, so you'll probably see me around for awhile! Good luck to everyone else!
Aimee

We are ttc sometime this summer, but if there is a "surprise" along the way, neither of us would be too upset! I'm at this board because DH is a full time law student, and I am considering starting a doctor of pharmacy program in the fall...just wanted to meet others out there who are as crazy as us!
