 Jackson Ewan arrived in record time!!
Hi everyone,
I haven't had a chance to go online in a while... but wanted to let everyone know that Bob and I had our baby boy on March 13th. We named him Jackson Ewan. He was 7 lbs  z, and 20" long. He's gorgeous (if I do say so myself)
I went in for my 39 week appt. at about 2:30 pm - my doctor did an internal, and said I was 4 cm dialated. She told me to go for a long walk and that I'd probably see her that evening.
Well, I did go for that walk, made dinner, ate, and at about 7:00pm started feeling like I had to have a bm. By 7:10pm the "gas" pains were regular - so I knew things were moving along... I called my sister to come look after my 19 month old and my husband and I drove to the hospital. My doctor had called the hospital ahead to let them know I was coming - my daughter was a rapid labour aswell. They checked me in at about 8:00pm and Jackson was born at 8:47pm. I know you all will hate me for this... but two pushes was all it took and he was out.
We all came home from the hospitol the next evening after the PKU test - and things have been great since.
I'm hoping to check in every once in a while on Geo Parent... but if I don't, thanks to all of you for your support and advise over the last 9 months. I wish all of you the best of luck with your little ones!
