Re: Jokes about languages: Focus on South Slavic Languages!

I have heard many times that also Serbo-croatian also sounds like Russian with the Italian or Greco-roman accent (nothing weard considering that it is in effect a slavic language as learned by previous Latin speaking Illyrians). same with Bulgarians (case of former greek or latin speakers learning slavic). Explains why it is so ease for us to pronounce say Italian or Spanish with relative ease while I can never catch Russian accent for example.

Ekavian and Ikavian sound the most like Slavic with Greco-roman accent while Ijekavian has a more slavic flavor in the way it sounds.

Similar words with Russian, but still not the same. The grammar is very similar to English, because our slavic speech has gone further in therms of developing the language and making it better.

the Serbo-Croat language is essentially the most logical of all languages in as much that you write the word as you would pronounce it. Grammar is different kettle of fish all together.

I don't know but the slavic languages sound kind of German.... a very you know.... "hitler" and "we weant war" type..... You could sing the most amazing song love song ever in Slavic or German and yet it would sound horrible! You know what I mean!?! Albanian rocks though....! French, Italian, Spanish and Albanian are my favourite languages.... English is cool too.
