Just wondering...
I was wondering do you all think it's possible to do weight watchers without actually joining weight watchers. I mean just by following the point system from home if you have the book or websites that tell you the points for foods etc. Has anyone tried it that way and what's ur opinions on it. Thanks in advance. :flirtyflower

Yes, it is VERY POSSIBLE. I am a bootleg member, I've never been to a meeting, weigh myself, journal every day and I've lost 38 lbs. and I am 2 lbs away from my goal. YOU CAN DO IT. You have to WANT it, no one can do it for you.

KSK is right, and is certainly an inspiration. I'm a bootlegger, too, and I just started, but friends of mine who are also bootleg say that they have lost, too.

This board is like your meeting. There are women here who understand what you're going through, and are here to listen about whatever problems you have. They're here to support you and applaud your progress! I know you'll love it here.

Yes girl, you can do it without going to meeting and being apart of the official plan. All of the information that you will need is right here. If it's not, then someone will provide you with the right resource. Thing is you have to dedicate yourself to loosing weight, just like we dedicate our time to so many other things in our lives. Yes, girl it is hard work, but like the other posted said, this place is like your meetings plus some.

One thing is...always use the same scale.

Indi at a size 16. That's about 40 pounds lighter than what I am now.

This is me about a month earlier than the above pic. Same weight. I am 5'9.

The one standing is at the Jill Scott concert in 01.

Wow, I am so glad you asked that question:clap . I went to one meeting and I have not been back since. There is just so much information and encouragement here. Plus, I can weigh myself at home. So, I guess I'm a bootleg member too!!:goofygrin

Well Karen, you actually went to a meeting,:grouphug2 paid, and got materials so`you're not bootleg, lol, but you can certainly do it on your own, I'm living proof of it.
