Hi, everyone! I am Katie Johnson, the Student Life Coordinator for the Governor's School. This will be my third summer with the program, I'm thrilled to be returning and I can't wait to meet you all!
As the SLC, I am responsible for coordinating the efforts of the Student Life staff (RAs, nurse, counselors) to make sure that your experience is a great one. I spend a lot of time hanging around during the program and I love to get to know as many students as possible. You'll hear my name a lot at morning announcements but, since we want to keep a few things a surprise, I'm not going to tell you why right now -- you'll have to find out in July. 
I love to read mysteries, watch all kinds of movies, sleep late on Saturdays (but not in July!), and dream about designing my own home. See you on July 2!
